We saw some fans who looked pretty belligerent on tv and the image was conjured. The thread's a joke, obviously. But it might be true.

Yes. He reacts to it early enough that the spectacularness is mostly him protecting himself. He's absorbing it by basically doing a frontflip using the block as a spring. I'm sure the worst part was the landing.
