Here you guys go. Any players ranked high that shock you guys?

Love your work. I don't get the chance to see any other small schools. I live about 10minutes from Bloomsburg, Pa. They are fun to watch. People don't appreciate how good football is at that level.

Would you say Brad Sorensen is a similar comp to John Skelton? Or is he a better or worse prospect at this point?

Cool to see Norm White on your list even that low, think he may be a newcomer. Likely lacks the speed to really have a chance in the pros, but a physical receiver who was fun to watch at the FCS level.

I think Brad is a little better prospect. He's been more consistent over his career but his arm is not quite as good as Skelton.

I think for his size he runs okay. If he were a step faster I think his shot would be better. You never know though.

I saw Foketi play once this year at West Texas A&M. I was impressed with him, but that's the same school that produced Bears OT, J'Marcus Webb. How does Foketi compare to Webb?

Not quite the freak measurables like wingspan, height, etc. but tougher and more consistent. He's also considered to be better off mentally than Webb was coming out. You are talking about a kid who walked on to WTAMU to pay his way so he could play football and get an education. A former BCS player paying his own way to D2 just to play ball knowing he needed to clear his name? That is hard to fathom.

Webb passed the eyeball test better than anyone I have seen in D2 outside of Jared Veldheer but Foketi is one of the most impressive in terms of maturity you will find. Better kid than people think.

The name that jumps out at me is Lane CB Vernon Kearney, who is on my "To Do List" but I haven't gotten a chance to check him out yet. Can you offer a little insight?

Very long and lean corner who is raw but can run. Shows flashes of a guy who could be a better pro than college player because of skills.

So is round 3 or 4 a possibility?

Possible but I would say round 5 is most likely. If it were me I would take him in the late 3rd or early 4th. I think he has a lot of upside and Sorensen is very smart.

What're the knocks on Rob McCabe?

I know he's ultra-productive, but still a long-shot to be drafted.

Need to see his speed and LOC is not tops in Patriot League. Had a big year. Would like to see what he does at Shrine. He could move into draft but I would be midly surprised. I think he is a very good PFA.

I started catching up on the small schools guys in between end of regular season and start of Bowl season (and will continue after the Championship Game). The guy that stood out was Keith Pough - OLB - Howard. Now he was injured later in the season (plus suspended in week one with a bunch of others for improper use of textbook allowances) and I know Josh always says small school prospects need to avoid that - but looked extremely talented. Looked very much at home in the Rutgers game.

Also liked Jason Thompson (WR, New Haven) - a little wiry, but liked his hands and play making ability. Dan Moore (RB, Montana) was fun to watch too - 4.6 40 plus injury might mean undrafted, but could be a steal - Alfred Morris didn't exactly run fast at the Combine!

Bit surprised J.J. Wilcox has risen so fast - key for him is can he show any man coverage skills at the Senior Bowl? Less teams are using zone these days and only a couple are Cover-2 teams and that's what he is. Can't believe he got a Senior Bowl invite ahead of Duke Williams.

B.W. Webb is OK - doesn't jump out at you particularly - reminds me a bit of Korey Lindsey.

Remember Foketi was a Wes Bunting favourite pre injury at Kansas State (and I really miss his writing - Nolan Nawrocki is as good, but doesn't publish much online) - so going to catch a couple of his games as soon as I get done with Bowl season!

You have OT JC Tretter from Cornell as #5 but Mike Catapano DE from Princeton but when they played this year Mike beat him up pretty bad and he is 30 something. Why is that?

By the way not a knock on Tretter as much of an endorsement and example of how good Catapano is. As an example watch this at 2:45 of this link from when they played. #77 Catapano is lined up against #79 Tretter and he literally runs right through him draws a holding penalty by Tretter and sacks Cornell QB Mathews anyway. Of course this is from a highlight tape of Catapano but i watched a tape from this game and Catapano beat him up pretty good. And Tretter is a legit NFL talent so its not a knock on him. You don't play in Senior Bowl unless you belong there.

He beat Tretter for a few plays but overall he did not kill him all game. They both had their moments.

Tretter is a former TE who will test really well and is a lot more raw and inexperienced at his position.

The NFL also agrees with me that Tretter is better since he already has a combine invite and Catapano does not.

There are some concerns I have with Catapano that don't help him either but time will tell on those.

Where do you have Brandon Kaufman now that he has declared?

Not easy to change positions and excel at new position. Obviously the guy is a great athlete. He will be drafted as an OG or Center by NFL? I look forward to seeing Tretter succeed on the next level.
