not the biggest fan of dion jordan so id rather go hankins in the first and chase thomas in the third but the picks do make sense

Cigaro 01-27-2013 02:36 PM

Once again, the Panthers need a NT, not a UT. With Hankins and Je. Williams on the board, we have to go that route if we're taking a DT.

BigBearFan 01-27-2013 02:58 PM

Not a bad job overall, but a few things....
I think most of the NFL world - including myself would be shocked if Ogletree cracks the Top 10 !!!
Since I'am a Bears' guy - my question is - "you believe A. Brown from KState is better than Teo' ??" Seriously?? I believe that Brown is a decent player, but he's no Manti Teo' not even close. Not to mention, the Bears could probably scoop him Brown in the 2nd if they really wanted him, why not take OL in the first which is their 1st biggest problem to begin with.

rickscott 01-27-2013 03:04 PM

Bengals in dire need of help at RB and thru 3 rds you have them not taking one. They will definitely draft a RB in the first 3 rds, maybe even rd 1

JaxJag_1 01-27-2013 03:27 PM

Appreciate all the feedback, guys.

I'll make sure to implement it going forward. Completely forgot about RB and the Bengals. I definitely have to fix that in my next one.

As far as Arthur Brown vs. Te'o... I think Brown is the better player really easily.

Brown Leader 01-27-2013 03:36 PM

I need to see more of Slay but DE/CB 's not bad.

freebirdsrams02 01-27-2013 03:37 PM

Not a big fan of the Rams picks. I like Kyle Long in the 4th though. I would rather see them take a OLB and OL in the first and grab a player like Eric Reid in the 2nd. I know a lot of people have the Rams taking a WR in round one but I hope that does not happen.

thebow305 01-27-2013 03:41 PM

Solid Miami draft

T-RICH49 01-27-2013 04:11 PM

so Geno Smith is okay to go 2 but not 1?STUPID!!!! Albert is NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!! so again I say Joeckel is worthless. As is trading for Flynn.wait til he's a FA don't give up picks for him

TimmG6376 01-27-2013 04:27 PM

I don't think the Packers can afford to ignore the defense until the third and then take a player at a position of depth.

nobodyinparticular 01-27-2013 04:45 PM

Not a fan of Mingo #3 to the Raiders. Just doesn't seem to suit them. I think Moore or Lotulelei would be more likely picks.

In the 3rd round, I could see the Raiders going after bloodlines and drafting Kyle Long to fit in at RT.

CJSchneider 01-27-2013 05:04 PM

For the record, I just have a negative feeling about Dion Jordan, but with the news that the Saints are going to go to a 3-4 D, I must admit that he would most likely be the pick as I see him fitting the 3-4 OLB mold. we likely won't resign Sedrick Ellis, so Williams in the third is a good pick. Pugh or Chris Faulk may be possibilities as well.

fenikz 01-27-2013 05:06 PM

turn bostic into carridine an I approve of AZs draft

Shupp 01-27-2013 05:57 PM

Woulda liked Hunt @ #74 for SF but nice mock.

lolno

I'm not doubting the man's athletic ability, but Al don't run the Raiders no more.

Have you ever been set up for a blind date and when you asked your friend what she looked like, he'd say "she has a great personality." That's pretty much what John Dorsey (Chiefs new GM) said when Kevin Keitzman (local sports talk guy) asked him specifically about trading for Matt Flynn. "He's a winner. He's a great guy in the locker room." Now I'm not saying they might not sign him IF he becomes a free agent but trading for him and building a team around him...no...just no.

18. Dallas Cowboys - Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
Good pick I imagine it'll be a coin flip between Ansah and Cooper here.

Quote:

47. Dallas Cowboys - Matt Barkley, QB, USC
Dallas will extend Romo long-term to lessen the cap hit this year. Both the team and Romo said they want him to resign long term. Orton is a quality backup. Both of these points lead to Dallas going the normal team route which is drafting a developmental QB in the mid-late rounds with high physical tools.

In place I can't imagine we'd pass on Eric Reid if we selected Cooper in the first. If we selected Ansah in the first than we'd be hard pressed to pass up on Jones/Warford.

Quote:

80. Dallas Cowboys - J.J. Wilcox, FS, Georgia Southern
Not buying this one. I like Wilcox but unless you are projected a 3 round jump between now and the draft this is horrible value.

Depending on previous picks:

Cooper - Reid:
Margus Hunt would be a very good pick and give Dallas a project DE across from Ware to develop.

Ansah - Jones/Warford:
D.J. Swearinger would be a quality pick here. Adding him to Kiffin's Cover-2 based scheme would be an excellent fit. Another option would be David Amerson if you are projecting him in the 3rd most likely that means he ran slow and will be transitioning to FS.

Overall solid positions aside from taking a QB early.

WestCoastLionsFan 01-28-2013 08:56 AM

Just say no to Werner at #5.

No TJ McDonald in first 3 rounds ??

BehrenMan007 01-28-2013 09:29 AM

solid fins draft. milliner has huge upside

Seasonticketholder 01-28-2013 12:07 PM

I like the Dion Jordan pick!

zachsaints52 01-28-2013 12:09 PM

Honestly, I would love TJ McDonald in the 3rd if he was still there. But at least you know we need a LB and DL.

cjrugger 01-28-2013 01:23 PM

51. Washington Redskins - Eric Reid, FS, LSU

Beautiful. Perfect

85. Washington Redskins - Zaviar Gooden, LB, Missouri

Yuck. Id say LB is the deepest position on our team. Given the board there, I'd roll the dice on Margus. I'd like to see us take another pass catcher like Da'Rick Rogers, Aaron Dobson or a big TE in round 3/4 also

Nice work overall

We could sure use an ILB but if you are referring strictly to OLB then yes it is pretty low on our list of priority at this point. I'd be pretty happy with Will Davis here in the 3rd.

ChicagoBearsVet23 01-28-2013 02:21 PM

Terrible 1st rounder for Bears. Te'o, Okafor, Montgomery, Warford, or Eifert, would all be better
