There will be a ton of changes. Even on the defensive side of the ball, the contract and age situation of that group leads me to believe there could be a ton of new faces there. The biggest single need though is OL. There's just no way around it, and now that it looks like they're going to a zone scheme the overall profile of the OL needs to be changed... it isn't just LT.

Telesco's biggest influence was Polian, who was never a free agency guy. That combined with the recent free agent misses doesn't indicate they'll do anything major there except adding depth. With the way the draft board is shaping up, I wouldn't be opposed to trading down, even into the 20's. If Telesco can come up with 5 picks in the first 100 and get 2 OL, 1 CB and 1 LB, you can use one more of those picks on a high upside playmaker, whether that's a dominant pass rusher or an impact RB or WR. Telesco mentioned on the radio that the team speed is an issue - couldn't agree with him more there. So while during Senior Bowl week I was marrying myself to the idea that Telesco should trade up at all costs to get Fisher, I've come down from that. The age and skill level of the team indicates that Fisher by himself will not get the team back into the playoffs.
