Kaepernick looked a little lost in the first half. That LaMichael James fumble really killed them, though. It meant more pressure was on Kaepernick, and he's better as a piece of the offense than the focal point.

If Kapernick's in because he offers more than Alex Smith, he needs to be offering more, not just managing the offense. Because he's worse at just managing the offense.

...But that was a shameful drop by Crabs. (BTW, not actually saying Kaepernick should be pulled in the above post, but at this state in the game it stills feels a little bit like the 49ers are trying to stay within themselves, and they've got to turn it on NOW.)

Kaepernick isn't solely too blame for the loss, he isn't even one of the biggest reasons, but why has the 49ers offense been so bad in the first half of the past two games? It is great that they can comeback no matter how much they are down by but why don't they just play better before they go down by three scores?
