They should put in Alex Smith

That guy's awesome.

not sure when you posted this but yeah you're right.

Kaepernick looked a little lost in the first half. That LaMichael James fumble really killed them, though. It meant more pressure was on Kaepernick, and he's better as a piece of the offense than the focal point.

DanZilla 02-03-2013 07:22 PM

Thank god. I always hated halftime shows lol

ChiFan24 02-03-2013 07:36 PM

Just drunk trollin. Nothing to see here.

49erNation85 02-03-2013 08:02 PM

Gtfo man . You don't switch qb now.

Brothgar 02-03-2013 08:10 PM

I lol'd proper troll to you sir.

Caulibflower 02-03-2013 08:19 PM

If Kapernick's in because he offers more than Alex Smith, he needs to be offering more, not just managing the offense. Because he's worse at just managing the offense.

Caulibflower 02-03-2013 08:20 PM

...But that was a shameful drop by Crabs. (BTW, not actually saying Kaepernick should be pulled in the above post, but at this state in the game it stills feels a little bit like the 49ers are trying to stay within themselves, and they've got to turn it on NOW.)

I'd rather the DB not grab his facemask preventing the catch, but that's just me.

Eh, I'm of the "If it hits your hands you should catch it" school.

Reverse jinx successful. Great work, TC

ChiFan24 02-03-2013 09:07 PM

I demand Alex!

WCH 02-03-2013 09:07 PM

The 49ers Super Bowl chances ended with Alex Smith's 49er career.

Come on if the 49ers stuck with smith it would be falcons vs ravens and we all know that.

They probably don't even get past Green Bay with Smith. Kaepernick won that game by himself with his legs.

I believe this is sarcasm, fellas.

I was joking.

I appologize I'm drunk and spent too mcuh time with 49er homers who think that Smith is still a top 15 QB.

ChiFan24 02-03-2013 10:10 PM

Alex Smith is a bad quarterback.

No problem. I also miss sarcasm when I'm drunk (like I am now).

abaddon41_80 02-03-2013 10:22 PM

Kaepernick isn't solely too blame for the loss, he isn't even one of the biggest reasons, but why has the 49ers offense been so bad in the first half of the past two games? It is great that they can comeback no matter how much they are down by but why don't they just play better before they go down by three scores?

ChiFan24 02-03-2013 11:35 PM

Yeah I bet Alex Smith woulda been the difference.

Monomach 02-03-2013 11:37 PM

I think it's pretty safe to say that Alex Smith would have gone for 500 yards and 4 TDs. At least.

JordanTaber 02-03-2013 11:58 PM

Roman/Harbaugh's red zone offense is a joke. Came back to bite them in the ass again in this one.
