What in the blue hell? Sign me up for that for KC right now. Right now.

Well, the trades at least. Instead of Jones in the second I'd go WR and in the third I'd go Barkley probably, but yeah, those trades need to happen.

The_Dude 02-27-2013 08:35 PM

You have Bjoern Warner going twice within 3 picks.

I'd prefer the Vikings take Allen in rnd 1

Do the kids still say "Epic fail"? If they do, they're talking about this draft for Oakland. What an absolutely horrible scenario.

BallerT1215 02-27-2013 08:50 PM

I don't see the need to trade up for Dion Jordan.

But I do like Jordan/Williams as the two picks for the Bills.

I'm not sure why the Eagles would do this.

1) Chiefs aren't a threat to take Smith
2) Jaguars aren't really a thread to take Smith
3) There are minor reports Raiders MIGHT take Smith

If the Eagles were truly concerned about Oakland taking Geno Smith, it makes much more sense to make the trade to just leapfrog Oakland. The haul would be much less than trading all the way up to the #1 overall pick.

kBuc5 02-27-2013 08:53 PM

I'd love those first three rounds.. Nice job.

I could see the Lions or the Browns targeting Jordan so that trade up makes sense. However, Mingo is right there for them to take and Jones is a similar player who the Bills could target as well.

Thanks for catching that. Move some guys around. Ugh, never again

You're mad that a rookie will be worth more than anybody that's on the Raiders' defense now? Someone you can build the defense upon isn't a bad thing.

Thats the way i was looking at it when i said the trade doesnt make sense. Unless they are infatuated with Jordan, you got 3 players with very similiar skill sets. And to be honest, I'm much higher on Jarvis Jones than Jordan.

The way I see it, Oakland, Buffalo and Arizona could target a trade up for Geno. Oakland is in dire need for a franchise guy, the head coach of Arizona witnessed how his offense roles with a franchise guy running it and Buffalo needs a franchise qb for how many years now.

This cases Kelly to get the perfect guy to run his offense. Geno is the best guy in this draft to run what he wants. Unless, he settles for Manuel

I think QB in the top 3-4 rounds is off the board now for KC.

You'd hate Floyd and Barkley? Wow

To me, I think Jordan has the added value of putting his hands down. I just don't see Mingo or Jones being able to do such things with their hands down. They could stay pat, if they choose to

Wrong. He's just not that good, and he's not really unlike a player we already have. Lamarr Houston can do anything Floyd can do, and is a proven NFL player. Floyd would be a wasted pick, not to mention a liability in run defense. We can't afford anymore run D liabilities.

I doubt that.entire roster needs to be overhaled. If a Barkley or Manuel are there in the 3rd I can see them going there

Passionately.

We already have a backup QB under contract, so Barkley makes no sense.

Floyd is a bad fit for the defense Allen and Tarver want to run, not to mention being pretty easily pushed around in run defense. There's no upside at all to this draft.

Pat Sims 90 02-27-2013 09:58 PM

It is a ok draft for the Bengals.

zachsaints52 02-27-2013 10:01 PM

Hankins in the first makes no sense especially since we have 1 starting caliber olb...

derza222 02-27-2013 10:26 PM

With Kenrick Ellis and Sione Pouha the Jets don't really need Williams in the second. Warford/Ertz would make more sense.

DiG 02-27-2013 10:56 PM

I can't imagine a scenario where the skins would pass on cyprien in rd 2. That and shanahan won't take a rt that early.

Especially Barkley that late. I mean, I don't like him in the first, but in the third he's a steal by any reckoning.

Again, we already have a backup QB. What we need is a guy who could actually develop into an above average starter. Barkley ain't that guy.

Now, if the plan were to feature him in preseason and try to hose someone the way KC is getting hosed in this Alex Smith deal, or the way AZ got jobbed in the Kolb trade, then the pick could be viable. But that's still not a great plan for a team that's just trying to rebuild to the level of being mediocre again.

We could sign Matt Moore in free agency and get a better QB.

49erNation85 02-28-2013 12:32 AM

Solid draft for sf until draft Bray from Tenn. Not a damn need at QB. If we do draft its late late in the draft and mobile QB. Terrible 3rd round pick. How about a wide out there. Other picks are great though.
