Love that you're still going with Warmack, and that you share my love for Mingo over Jarvis Jones.

Not too bullish on Menelik or Wreh-Wilson though huh?

wicket 03-08-2013 02:07 PM

the only big differences wed have is that you are WAY higher on dion jordan than i am and i have my QB ranking not even remotely similar than yours. Whether thagt means we both do a good job of both do a bad job i guess is for others to judge but i agree with a ton of your rankings

BoiseSt39 03-08-2013 02:13 PM

I'm curious why you have Denard Robinson so high compared to Josh Boyce and Ryan Swope, who both tested well at the combine.

Watson's upside just gave me problems ranking him even though I don't love him.

Took me awhile to turn around on Warmack, but he was dominant this year for sure.

Wreh-Wilson seems meh to me, just not sure he is a starter. Not bad, not great.

QB not my strong suit, but I think I'm getting better. Whole offseason has impressed me for Manuel. I have a good feeling.

As for Denard, the short range quickness he brings has big time upside. It is all a projection, and I like Boyce a lot, but I'd rather take a shot on Denard than Swope/Boyce

Giantsfan1080 03-08-2013 03:39 PM

C Mario Benavides did not go to Rutgers.

Iamcanadian 03-08-2013 04:16 PM

Oday Aboushi, Virginia cannot ever be a NFL OT, his only hope is at OG. I also think Travis Frederick, with his slow 40, is doubtful as an OC and will probably also play OG at the next level.

Punisher 03-08-2013 04:55 PM

So are you saying everyone ranked under Collin Klein can't throw a football?

BallerT1215 03-08-2013 04:56 PM

I just realized I like the majority of the RB's coming out this year.

All those darn red Big East teams :)

Curious about Montori Hughes and why you think he's the 7th best DT in the class. Haven't heard anything about him

49erNation85 03-08-2013 06:14 PM

Teo is still top 5 after poor showing at the combine ? Bostic seems a little under rated.

princefielder28 03-08-2013 06:23 PM

Quinton Patton and Jordan Poyer rankings seem a little low to me, but otherwise the rankings look solid.

Same question I have. I didn't see any particular reason why he'd be moving up over the off-season, so I was a bit surprised to see him seventh in a deep DT class.

CashmoneyDrew 03-09-2013 12:32 AM

Montori Hughes always had the talent and physical tools. It was just all about if he could keep it together mentally.

I remember a play his true freshman year, in the swamp, he chased down Tebow from behind and forced a fumble as well.

Such a bummer he got kicked out of UT.

CashmoneyDrew 03-09-2013 12:33 AM

JBond,

Are you so low on Lattimore solely for his injuries, or is there more to it?

Sounds like Kenrick Ellis. Personal issues kept him mostly off the field here, but against Clemson as a RS frosh, he was an absolute monster. No surprise he ultimately made it to the NFL. That being said, I haven't followed Ellis' career with the Jets too much, other than his somewhat impressive showing against us in the preseason.

He's been a developmental project but has shown flashes that he can be a premier NT. He's gotten progressively better, but the fact that they haven't released Pouha leads me to believe that he still isn't ready to start.

like gillislee but i like jonathan franklin more.

I'm sure it is his injuries. If you've seen film of it, it was horrendous and even if by miracle, he can play again, it is hard to believe that injury won't reoccur.

I see you have most of the guys I have in my top 50 small schoolers lol. I like that you are a fan of a lot of the guys I am high on. :)

Anyone I have high that you have a lot lower or vice versa?

Haha, I learn from the best Josh! But really your list has been my starting point, and the sleepers you had for Pro Days, etc :)

I like Manase Foketi a bit more than you. Hasn't been the best offseason for him, but I think he is definitely draftable and I think he could develop.

Not sure I have JJ Wilcox as high as you. Safety position is always hard for someone like me without coach's tape, but even at 10 for me, that puts him outside the 2nd day.

Lattimore, yup, injury and the fear about if he can come back from that and be "the man" somewhere.

As for Hughes, he is a physical monster. Him moving up for me was just getting to watch him more, and I really feel like he was dominant.

Curious what you like about Reid in favor of Cyprien & Elam?

I think Reid has a tad more upside. I don't trust Elam as a cover safety, and Cyprien is behind Reid instinctually. Now, Reid is not an elite player (2nd rounder IMO,) but he is a good athlete who shows instinctual promise. Can tackle and cover more than Cyprien/Elam. More complete basically.
