We need to take a QB at some point - If taking Geno Smith saves us from Nassib in the 2nd, then I'll accept it.

I agree but I see Joeckel being the first tackle off the board.

ChicagoBearsVet23 03-15-2013 07:19 PM

Perfect Bears pick!

49erNation85 03-15-2013 07:58 PM

Good Sf pick for who is left .

Seasonticketholder 03-15-2013 08:04 PM

Tavon Austin over Desmond Trufant for the Saints!

thebow305 03-15-2013 10:31 PM

Works for me!

RCAChainGang 03-15-2013 10:35 PM

Meh, I don't see Berrett Jones as a first round talent.

apb540 03-15-2013 11:04 PM

I will quit if the Eagles take Lane Johnson at 4.

Robcards 03-15-2013 11:18 PM

If Fisher is there at 5, Lions are taking him so fast. Highly doubt lane goes before Fisher though.

Shupp 03-16-2013 06:16 AM

Our number one priority is not going to be a TE2.....

I see Johnson being a more intriguing fit at tackle for Chip Kelly with his athleticism and ability to move in space.

Harbaugh loves the two tight end sets and he nabs the top guy on the board.

killxswitch 03-16-2013 08:07 AM

Ugh. At the very least, Carradine over Barrett Jones. Bleh.

the_legend_killer 03-16-2013 10:16 AM

As a Vikings fan, I'll take that first round.

Werner would be a fairly horrendous fit in a 3-4. Too small to play 5-tech and too clunky in coverage, id be stunned if a 3-4 team takes him.

Get prepared to punch babies because if Jones, Jordan, or Mingo is not there, Patterson or Austin will likely be the pick. Trust me on this one, Wicket!

seriously, you cant expect them to blow a first round pick in a similar way twice in three years

The_Dude 03-16-2013 02:13 PM

Lovely first round for the Viqueens.

proshoota25 03-16-2013 07:00 PM

The jury is still out on the Ingram pick though this season will be critical for him and the team.

Also, it is not about what I think at all. I do inject my opinion, do not get me wrong. But as I told you two years ago, the Saints were very high on Ingram and predicted he would be taken even if we have to trade up. This time, I am saying to you that they love the backers, but they also like Austin and Patterson. Unlike some Saints fans, the team sees a need at WR. Even if Morgan is a replacement to Meachem, who replaces Henderson? A lot of the sets we run is dependent on having someone to do what Henderson did for us. They are still high on Toon but see him more in the Colston mold. Of the two WRs, I would say Payton is more intrigued by Austin but that Patterson probably has the edge because of his size and ability to line up on the outside.

Hate the Floyd pick. Ansah or Jordan in your mock.

J-Mike88 03-16-2013 08:35 PM

I would puke.
And I am both Irish & Catholic.

Would much rather have Minter or Eifert in that scenario.
