Wootylicous 10-01-2013 10:19 AM

Bills at Browns ?

ugh

DcmRulz 10-01-2013 10:22 AM

11:30 PM game. Sunday night football will end, and San Diego will still be warming up.

Seriously, they always seem to catch the late night games.

Unless the Broncos show up there to play i'd say no to that.

I'm look forward to the Chiefs at the Titans. Convential wisdom would probably say expect a letdown from the Tits with their QB out this week but Fitzpatrick can run a controlled offense there and i'm not seeing KC going too far without a loss.

gpngc 10-01-2013 10:59 AM

Pointless Power Rankings

1) Broncos: Manning will throw for 54 TDs
2) Seahawks: Bobby Wagner is a DROY candidate and bonafide star
3) Saints: Borderline unbeatable at home
4) Patriots: Belichick and Brady as usual
5) Chiefs: Remind me of Alex Smith's 49ers - difference is they have Charles
6) Colts: Luck hasn't even broken out yet
7) Bears: Don't know what happened last week, probably an abberation
8) 49ers: Question marks all over the place but a big road win LW
9) Packers: 1-2 but they still have Rodgers and suddenly a possible running game
10) Lions: I'm not buying yet but the DL is scary
11) Panthers: Superemely overlooked front-seven, all they need is Cam to be Cam
12) Chargers: Coach and QB and the rest can only improve
13) Cowboys: Maybe the same old Cowboys or maybe San Diego is good
14) Texans: Relax with the Schaub burning, Daryl Sharpton lost them the game
15) Dolphins: Good front seven but Sherman needs to be better
16) Titans: Losing Locker hurts but the defense is flying
17) Cardinals: Any improvement by Palmer makes them a tough team to beat
18) Browns: Hoyer's taking them to the division crown, Tom Brady style
19) Falcons: Average accross the board - Matt Ryan needs to play better
20) Bengals: Andy Dalton's shortcomings hold back a team with so much talent
21) Rams: Ran into a buzz saw LW but they'll get better
22) Ravens: The offense just isn't playing well at all
23) Vikings: At least Cassel will attempt to throw the ball down the field
24) Bills: Kiko Alonso is the DROY so far but Manuel needs to play better
25) Raiders: Expect a competitive team when Pryor comes back
26) Jets: Geno Smith is playing like Geno Smith
27) Redskins: The defense is just horrible
28) Steelers: Old and can't tackle with few explosive threats and a bad OL
29) Eagles: A horrible defense and uncreative offense
30) Jaguars: Not as bad as people think - look who they've lost to
31) Buccaneers: The defense is going to lose hope soon with no help from the O
32) Giants: The worst executing offense in the league by far and the scary thing is that the D hasn't been that bad

After 2-14 last year I'm not sleeping on any team in the NFL.

I'm worried about the Titans. I was more worried about them with Locker in the lineup, but I'm still worried.

Are the Lions going to win in Green Bay after like 100 years?

Wagner is so good he'll win DROY in his 2nd season. Also, I don't see him being a DPOY candidate.

Is it going to be televised nationally?

We can hope but it depends on which offensive coordinator shows up for the Colts. I am pretty concerned about Wilson's scrambling as well. We kept Kaepernick in check but Harbaugh played right into our hands that game. I don't expect to get lucky like that again vs. Seattle.

yea theyre gonna put the OAK-SD game on NFL network is what I heard

Would that be going back to the Greg Landry days or even Bobby Layne?

Jake Locker got a 2nd MRI today, team released a statement saying that there was no structural damage - no fracture, no dislocation. Being classified as a hip sprain and probably out 4-6 weeks with no surgery required. Gotta be the best case scenario based on what was originally thought immediately after it happened.

thanks for that report. Info out of Tennessee was flowing like mud there for awhile. As you said best case probably. He would miss the next 3 games and then the bye week.

What makes the whole situation frustrating is that Locker seemed to be really coming into his own along with the rest of the offense. You don't want to think he's injury prone so hopefully he can come back after the break and continue to improve. I have a feeling that Fitzpatrick will play well in Jake's abscence.

Will be interesting to see if there are any fines coming down for the two DEs for the Jets. Wilkerson was probably borderline illegal there and Coples was more of the culprit with the second hit. I never liked the Jets so they could throw the book at those two for all i care but it is football and injuries happen. Are the offensive tackles still solid there or is that any area to look at in the future?

Roos is still solid, but Dave Stewart at RT appears to be on a bit of a decline after his injury last year. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to start thinking about a replacement for him sooner rather than later. The have a developmental kid they drafted a couple years back put of Louisville, but not sure that he's the answer.

Freaking blows i HAVE TO work during SF game on Sunday.

Why is Josh Freeman being treated like such a victim?

Who missed the team picture?

Who was seen numerous times wasted out of his mind in local Tampa watering holes?

Who was in the substance abuse program?

Who used a lame excuse as to why he was in the substance abuse program?

Who has played like absolute crap?

Why are we making so many excuses for a guy who not only is a crap player, but clearly a crappy teammate as well?

Schiano could take a **** on his chest for all I care, Freeman did it to himself.

BallerT1215 10-01-2013 03:19 PM

OHHHH We're gonna put on a show on Thursday nite!!

mightytitan9 10-01-2013 03:20 PM

Freeman needs a change of scenery, we've seen him be an above average QB in the league. The offensive line there blows and Freeman gets easily flustered. It makes me laugh if they expect anything better from Glennon, that offense has bigger problems than Freeman.

The "lame excuse" is documented and has been reported as 100% correct. He volunteered to be admitted into the program. You can say what you want about his play, him liking to party, or whatever but I think he manned up here.

How do you accidentally take ritalin instead of adderhall, a prescribed drug?

Explain that to me. Did the pharmacy accidentally mix them? No? Then how the **** does that happen? It's ********.

Not to mention the whole "addherall" thing can be completely made up and we wouldn't know bc the league can't comment on what he specifically tested positive for.

And a change of scenery won't change his work ethic. When you're crap at qb you're crap at qb. He is what he is. I don't want to hear how it's his team around him. He has a good offense around him. He's just not good.

His terrible work ethic speaks for itself. And pouting the way he has shows how he handles adversity. Not well.

He's just not good.

Still one of the better combinations in the league. Both contracts are ending soon so we'll see what happens there. They are getting old and play has decline slightly, but still a pretty solid duo.

It should be noted that Wilkerson beat Warmack and that Coples was on the FB.

It should also be noted that Wilkerson took an extra step or so to nail Locker, and that Coples wasn't really a factor until he decided to put his shoulder into Locker, which is what caused the injury.

I have a mutual friend who knows Josh, he stated that Josh has explained he used to be prescribed ritalin before switching to addherall. He was out of addherall but still had an old bottle of ritalin. He did not know it would matter if he took it for a few days until the prescription was filled.

I've seen him play QB well, seen him post overa 95 QB rating over a season. He's not Schiano's guy, and it's been reported ever since Schiano took place that he never wanted Freeman.

I just feel like there needs to be more Bills/Browns talk...CMON!
