Excellent job of picking for the Rams. However, wouldn't be at all surprised if Fish and crew don't go for a Clinton-Dix or B. Roby instead of M. Lee.

We are weak at corner and need an infusion of talent at safety also. Other than that I like what your're putting out....

Swapped out a couple picks before I seen your post... Hopefully you and other Ram fans are content.

Good position for KC.

Interesting Ravens pick. Thomas would be playing mostly WR for Baltimore but I could see them doing some things where Rice lines up in the slot (which he's been doing now at times) and Thomas at RB. I think I'd like it. Jacoby jones is a free agent and probably gone after this season but Torrey Smith is a legitimate weapon and Marlon Brown has shown some really nice things. Getting another big-play threat, but one with a different skill-set, on the outside along with a healthy Pitta would be great. The offensive line would still have to get back on-track though.

I really think this pick is a no-brainer. The Ravens have neglected the run from what I have seen the past 2 weeks. With acquiring Thomas you have a major threat either way you see it, out the backfield or in the slot it's a win-win situation.

They didn't really neglect the run against the Dolphins or Packers. The blocking has been so bad that defenses are knifing right through and hitting either Rice or Pierce in the backfield for a loss or little/no gain. Of course the obvious running on first down against Green Bay didn't help (you can tell they were expecting it by the way they crashed the line every time) but it's not any better in other situations. Thomas wouldn't be doing anything as a RB for the Ravens either if the blocking doesn't improve. C is looking like one of the biggest needs on the team. LG or RT (depending on where Osemele plays) would be up there too if Oher walks.

Er, why would the Seahawks take a RB in the first round? Marshawn Lynch has two years left on his contract after this season, is still relatively young (turns 28 next April) and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down; they just took Christine Michael in the second round last year and they also like the third RB on their roster, Robert Turbin, as well.

A DT like Will Sutton or a big WR like Brandon Coleman would make more sense.

T-RICH49 10-15-2013 12:51 AM

solid pick for KC

Robcards 10-15-2013 01:58 AM

Good Jets pick.

BallerT1215 10-15-2013 03:18 PM

Nice pick for Buffalo.

Getting a player of his caliber to add to our pass rush would be huge.

I should have put emphasis on the Buffalo game because that's really where I was going with it. 9 total carries between Rice and Pierce ouch!

Not a fan of Noy would rather AJ Johnson if they go LB in the 1st with what is left at LB.

twiz 10-15-2013 04:43 PM

That is a disastrous first round for Cleveland.. no QB, LB is not a top need, and they won't take a RB in the first unless they think he can be McCoy/Bush v.2, and that's not in this draft.

QB can be addressed in the 2nd Round. I'm very sure Manziel, McCarron, Mettenberger, Carr etc. will be available by the time your pick is up.

Can't take that chance.

There is no risk taking at all.

The risk is getting stuck with Weeden for another year. I'm confident we'll re-sign Hoyer, but you need more than one QB on a team, and as much as I like him, Hoyer's not a franchise guy. You can get that here, no matter how many picks it costs.

Not Manziel. At all. Ever. I said franchise QB, not franchise killer. The smileys are cute though. Well done.

If you clearly look at my Mock you will see the Top 3 QBs are selected already. What more do you want out of the QB crop?

Oh you know, just a couple things...

1. Someone that fits what the scheme needs.

2. A QB that fits what the coaches typically look for.

3. Someone that's not a character problem. Already got rid of Richardson for being a prima donna and I'm sure Lombardi still wants to deal Gordon and Little.

So yeah, none of those fit Manziel.

Can I see a credible source that says that's why they got rid of him? I mean, they got a 1st round pick for a mediocre RB I'd say that was a huge win I don't think they got rid of him for any reason other than that they got some great compensation for him.
