The next line of NFL stars.

What players do you see making a name for themselves this season or in the next few seasons? And why?

I'll go with Cordarrelle Patterson.

When the ball is in this guys hands watch out. He can make a house call anywhere on earth. If this kid learns how to play WR the league should be put on notice. He already can take Kickoffs, Punts and short screens to the zone. But when he can play true WR it's going to be fun to watch. Someone you're going to want to pay to see if it all comes together for him.

So who's next? Who ya got!

Bobby Layne 12-10-2013 04:20 AM

Is Josh Gordon already a "Star"? If not he's my pick.

The Alex 12-10-2013 04:37 AM

Justin Hunter. He just needs a QB.

Caulibflower 12-10-2013 04:41 AM

Second Cordarelle Patterson.

KCJ58 12-10-2013 04:45 AM

Tavon Austin, yah

AntoinCD 12-10-2013 04:52 AM

The Vikings need to continue to be creative with Patterson to get him the ball in numerous different ways. If they can he could be a stud, same goes with Austin.

But for me I am going with Alshon Jeffrey. He is now starting to show why people thought so highly of him at South Carolina...you know before he looked fat.

My guess is by this time next year he will be without a doubt Chicago's best WR

Naga114 12-10-2013 05:18 AM

Kenny Stills is going to be a very good receiver with the Saints offense. He can take the Lance Moore role or the Meachem role?

Caulibflower 12-10-2013 06:02 AM

Alshon Jeffery is another really good one. He's already there, though, and just going to get better now.

Ness 12-10-2013 06:24 AM

Josh Gordon. Maybe Keenan Allen.

BuckeyeDan17 12-10-2013 07:29 AM

Check Josh Gordon's numbers and let me know how many better wide receivers there are in the NFL.

AntoinCD 12-10-2013 08:38 AM

Yeah Josh Gordon is a bona fide superstar already. I picked Alshon because while he is setting the league on fire this year most people would still pick Marshall over him. I don't think that will last too long next year though

DeadEagle 12-10-2013 08:53 AM

My list of 5 future superstars includes:

Tyler Eifert
Cordarelle Patterson
Lavonte David
Kelvin Benjamin
Sammy Watkins

I think Alshon Jeffry is arriving as we post. Kid id the real deal.

Cordarrelle <33333

It's sad he's plays for the Vikings.

killxswitch 12-10-2013 09:13 AM

If he wasn't such a twig, and if I had confidence in our OC, I would nominate TY Hilton. He has the ability, he is just used inconsistently and gets nicked up easily.

In a few games I might bring up Da'Rick Rogers. But I need to see more first.

WhiteBread 12-10-2013 09:20 AM

Giovani Bernard. Loved him coming out of UNC.

Job Reborn 12-10-2013 09:40 AM

Josh McCown, obviously.

Hines 12-10-2013 10:07 AM

Cameron Heyward. He's been such a stud this season. The light is finally coming on for him.

Defensively Jimmy Smith is forming an island. Check out Gordon stat line against the ravens in the second gsme. I think it was 3 catches for 44 yards and 0 tds

FUNBUNCHER 12-10-2013 11:38 AM

TE Jordan Reed. If he can avoid the concussions.

fatso 12-10-2013 11:47 AM

Zach Stacy

I'm so glad to hear that. I was a HUGE Jimmy Smith fan in the draft. I felt we should have taken him over Prince.

Prince has been great in his own right, but he's not shut down. He's very good, but that seems to be his ceiling. Jimmy's jam at the LOS is pure sex.

I will ride the Zac Stacy bandwagon for a long, long time.
Homer pick: Marlon Brown. He has all the tools to be a really good WR, just need to put it together.
A lot of really interesting WRs have entered the league lately.

Babylon 12-10-2013 12:20 PM

Kendall Wright
Justin Hunter
Luke Willson
Eric Reid
Kyle Long

CashmoneyDrew 12-10-2013 12:39 PM

All of the Vols receivers.

All of them.

CC.SD 12-10-2013 12:46 PM

Keenan Allen baybay
