How will Bruce Gradkowski do?
Bruce Gradkowski gets his first start of his NFL Career this sunday versus the New Orlean Saints. Trueblood (rookie) will also be starting for the first time ever at RT, Joseph also might be starting for the first time ever at RG.
Some info on him: Drafted 6th round (heard it was only cause of his height but im not sure) Ran the 40 faster or the same (cant remember) as vince young Only QB (either in college or mac) to ever have back to back 70% completion seasons. So that being said, how do you think he will do vs the saints? |
He will do so-so. The guy should have went to the HS my Dad teaches at but they pulled him out because his Dad said the HS ran too much :P
He will make good decisions, but he'll force balls if the running game doesn't get going. If Caddy is healthy, Grad will pull off some good stats. |

Gradkowski also has a ritual of puking before every game :D But i bet he'll puke because of nerves instead of a "ritual" come this sunday. |
how about the people that vote, post and say why? That sounds good...

so so... got worse now with a rookie starting at tackle (Trueblood) hes definately going to take hits.
|
New Orleans D-Line has been dominant, while the Bucs O-Line has been the opposite. I expect Bruce to take his fair share of licks. He cannot do any worst than Simms was however.
|
He will throw a couple touchdowns and a lot of pics.

Darko, no one cares about the Buccaneers (except us Buc fan) so give it up. Also, team discussion anybody?

2. Leinart won a heisman 3. Leinart shoulda been the #1 pick in 2005 |
I like the fact that Gradkowski pukes before a game. Reminds me of Willie Beamen.
While I do like Gradkowski, I don't think he's going to put up miraculous numbers for TB. Their playing behind a shaky O-line that is taking on an overachieving, yet still pretty good, New Orleans Saints D-line. Given the fact that TB is starting three rookies all on the offensive side of the ball and are going up against a much improved Saints D, I see a rough day for Gradkowski. I think you also need to take into consideration the type of effect the Superdome will have on a rookie quarterback. The fans are going to be pumped up just like they were for the ATL game and it's going to be really hard on a rookie QB to come in and perform well in that type of environment. |
I think he will show big potential. He'll put up a fight, but the saints will pull it out. He will be the official future of the Bucs.

BTW, VY ran the fourty in 4.57. Gradkowski had a 4.59. The guy is quick.

Gradkowski reminds me alot of Drew Brees but can run the ball well too. Both a little undersized but are very gritty, good solid accurate arms as well.

I always thought he was very underrated and will prove it come game time, I see maybe 2 td's, a pick and a good 200-250 yards, solid performance
|
I think he is going to look quite poor but from no faults of his own. If he has a bad game this can be strongly attributed to poor offensive line play.
|
I like him alot, and I was very glad to see him go to a team that I thought he would have a chance to start for. I think he'll have his struggles but by year's end will look like he's going to become a solid starter.
|
Crappy Note:I also think Leinart and Young will do crappy as well, so its just not him.

So bad Rattay comes in... i only voted that because of Darko's extreme buc homerism.
