Anybody see South Park last night?
South Park isn't as good as it used to be. Hopefully they won't be like The Simpsons and hang around forever after they truly have nothing left.
I have studied the paranormal for years, and last night's SP made fun of The History Channel's "Ancient Aliens" series. The funniest part was when one of the ufologists was making his argument for space aliens attending the first Thanksgiving by claiming "There's nothing in the literature from that time that says aliens were NOT there. That proves that aliens WERE there."
The episode then goes into typical South Park "it's all a shocking conspiracy" mode, and as usual, only the boys find out about it from the conspirators and/or the government. They do that way too much. But the part about the "stuffing mines" was funny.
Anyway, do you agree with the South Park writers that The History Channel is ridiculous for airing so many programs about aliens? Or do you think there's something to it, especially the idea of aliens visiting Earth many centuries ago? I read the 1968 book "Chariots of the Gods", and it's pretty convincing.
