No running game with mainly backup RBs. Still a 4.3 YPC average despite that, just less attempts because why give it to Morris and Keiland Williams or a gimpy Kevin Smith. LeShoure and Best healthy, Kevin Smith all year and maybe Ryan Grant in the picture and the Lions should have a better running game. Run blocking does need some improving but we'll see what Reiff adds if he's on the right side for Gosder.

Oline. The Lions threw it a ton and protected Stafford for the most part. Mid 30 sacks but 660 some attempts is impressive. A few hiccups here and there especially Minnesota and Dallas game first half but the line prortected well, especially down the stretch and you saw what happened when Stafford was protected(big games). Great finish to the season. Plus they drafted Reiff.

Pass defense was top 5 statistically before the injuries to Delmas, Houston and Berry the three top pass defenders. Plus a good pass rush. We'll see if Lacey is better than Wright and what the three rookies can do. Hopefully give better depth than Alphonso Smith, Brandon McDonald and Donald Carey who all sucked. Spievey needs work but an offseason should help. Never really got that full offseason after switching positions. And the Lions pass rush should help aid the secondary again.

Madden curse we shall see on this myth. Monster year from Calvin and the Lions have a plethora of weapons besides Calvin too plus hopefully an improved running game.
