Hmm, that's weird, I don't see Scranton PA on there...
but really, based on their stats, I would put DC ahead of SF. Their #s in terms of income and unemployment are close, however $90K/year in DC is worth a lot more than $90K/year in SF.

Boston and DC ahead of New York? And Rochester appearing on a list when Buffalo is conspicuously absent?

St. Paul over Minneapolis seems weird even with the crime difference.

I haven't heard too many bad things about Cincinnati. They aren't the butt of jokes like Detroit or Cleveland, which aren't on this list. Unless I missed something.

Cleveland was on the list if I'm not mistaken. I love living here but a lot of people who do rag on it like it's some third world country or something. Not too big, not too small, has a lot of nice areas with a great sports scene and lots of stuff to do. Don't really understand the love affair with Cbus but I've never really liked that place.

My take on the list:
Tampa is 34th and Orlando and Miami aren't even on the list? I like Tampa, but it is not as fun as Orlando and Miami.
Indianapolis and Chicago are way too low. Indianapolis I feel is an underated city. I've heard it called "Jacksonville without a beach." But as a longtime Jacksonville resident, I can say with authority that Indy i much better. And Chicago being behind Cincinnati, Raleigh, and Philadelphia?
I'm digging Atlanta and Nashville, two of my favorite cities, being in the top-20.
New Orleans is way too high. It has good food and that is it. It's dangerous, dirty, smells like ****, crowded, and a bunch of other stuff that makes it suck. I've been there twice and I have no desire to ever get within 100 miles of that place again.

Tampa brings in the highest revenue of all the Florida cities. I should know I live here.

Who cares? Jacksonville has the highest population in the state, doesn't mean it should be on the list. I should know, I lived there for 13 years. Tampa is a cool city. But better than Miami and Orlando it is not.

Yeah I think the top of the list is pretty accurate, but looking it over a little more there are some mistakes. You are right that Chicago is too low and new Orleans is too high. Nashville getting love makes me happy, I'm from Boston an just graduated from college in the south and I'd rank my favorite cities as Boston, Chicago, and then Nashville. I haven't travelled a ton as a 22 year old recent grad, and having a job will make it harder, but I want to make an effort to see some more places. I've been to all the big cities in the northeast and the south plenty of times, but out west I've only been to Phoenix and Denver. I liked them both too.

I'm surprised Pittsburgh isn't higher. Weren't they in the top 5 a year ago?
