I would say OLB is our biggest need. We literally don't have any OLB opposite Martez Wilson right now. I mean, we do have Scott Shanle and Chris Chamberlain, two guys who we are thinking about cutting. OLB makes much more since because there are a couple of NT prospects we could get in the 3rd and guys like Jordan, Mingo, and others won't be there.

I would have given Jordan or Mingo to the Saints if either had been available.

I actually think Richardson is the better player for us at #15 honestly. More talented of him and Hankins too. Just IMO.

Ogletree is a solid pick.
Fits the needs very well.

Well, I won't go quite that far but, yes, the logic is compelling. The Chiefs WILL draft a quarterback because to not draft one would be an even greater risk. Some will say that you can get fired if you pick the wrong guy. I would say and Scott Pioli has proven that you can get fired if you don't pick any guy. Right now, Geno Smith looks like that guy.

I am kind of set on Jesse Williams right now for San Fran but I can't be upset with Jenkins.

There is no way that Williams gets a first round grade from any NFL team IMO. Jenkins on the other hand is on a different level in terms of natural ability. SF can probably get Williams at the end of the 2nd.

What makes you say that? I've heard the exact opposite.

I'd be cool with Lane Johnson. Obviously a step up from Webb.

I have a hard time seeing Jones, Moore, and Barkley in the top ten.

I would love Zach Ertz for Green Bay, but I don't see Ted Thompson pulling the trigger on an early round tight end. The position in Green Bay's offense is more of a niche position than one which will be the focal point, and the team, even if they release Finley, is excited about DJ Williams, Tom Crabtree, Ryan Taylor and practice squad player Brandon Bostick for next season.
The Packers' defense has a huge need inside at linebacker so Kevin Minter would make a lot of sense with the way the mock played out.

Honestly, the only ILB in this draft that I think brings anything that Green Bay doesn't already have is Ogletree (who's almost certainly off the board at 26.) Te'o doesn't upgrade Hawk and Minter doesn't upgrade Bishop.
As for defensive needs for Green Bay, I could both DE and S as higher priorities than ILB.
With the board as it stacks at 26 in Scott's Mock, I would try to trade back here if I were Ted Thompson.

Why can't Bishop and Minter play next to each other?
I would love for the Packers to address their issues at defensive end but after Thompson spent picks on Worthy and Daniels, there's little chance they'll use a high pick on the position.
I'd be all for Jonathan Cyprien in the first round to Green Bay if Minter isn't an option.

If the Rams pass on Lane Johnson for Kenny Vaccaro, I'm gonna be pretty pissed.

Ditto. OT is a huge need. Rams can get a good safety in 2 or 3

I just don't see Minter as much of an upgrade over Hawk when playing next to Bishop, honestly. I understand Packer fans want to chase Hawk out of town, but I'll take him over any LB in this draft not named Ogletree. All of the other ILBs I have the same issue with them on third down that I do with Hawk. I'd probably play D.J. Smith on passing downs ahead of Minter just like I would over Hawk.
As for the defensive line situation, I think it's more likely than you think. Thompson frequently drafts a guy not based on this year's "needs" but to head off next year's "needs". So just like Neal was drafted as an intended replacement during Cullen Jenkins' contract year, it's likely that TT will spend a high pick on a DL in a year where Wilson, Neal, and Pickett will all be free agents after the 2013 season.

Kevin Minter is the #1 ILB in this draft, and he'd be a significant upgrade over Hawk. Minter has shown the ability to play in coverage as well.
I know we have those three as free agents next off-season, but I expect Thompson to look to extend Neal's stay in Green Bay because he's still young and he was a guy that TT spent a high pick on.

Not sure where else to put his, but who is the better blocker, Ertz or Eifert?

Scott,
Is there anyway you can give each prospect a grade score (1st rounders only)?
That would give us a great understanding of value/grade vs where they were selected.
For example if Sheldon Richardson grades out as a 92 out of 100 and is taken outside the top 10 bc of other team's needs etc it would give us great insight to how a great player fell as a result.
I know you grade each of these guys individually, so while you're doing that is it possible to grade them out? I think it would add a lot of juice to your mock drafts and make them stand out vs the competition.
