If it was Jahri Evans... oh man. He's one of the best young guards in the game. LOL.

Calhoun's going for 1,000 rushing yards this season, watch. Bell is going to fumble the job away in Week 3, and the young back who is finally healthy will literally and figuratively run with the job from there.
PLS BLV

An interesting anecdote about Calhoun, confirmed by three different people who were in the Lions' draft room at the time, is that team officials weren't even talking about Calhoun when they were on the clock for the third round in 2006.
The majority of the debate was about an offensive lineman and whether the Lions would be reaching if they took him at that spot. That argument consumed most of the time and when the Lions were pressed for a decision -- and decided not to reach for the lineman -- an offensive coach piped up from the back of the room: "Take Calhoun from Wisconsin.''
And that's how Calhoun became a Lion.

WMD, I thought for sure a thread this old would fall to dust.

Here is the Packer war room story how they got Aaron Rodgers.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/78...draft-war-room
They wanted Ware or Spears, Dallas took both, they wanted a trade down, got no calls and trusted the board and got Aaron Rodgers. FML.
And no Randy Moss in 2007 for Pack because of only one year deal not two for the Pack. Thank goodness.
