Haha. J.R., Najera, and K-Mart took turns guarding him. That was just awful. Kobe's amazing, but Denver's defense was just... yeah...
But did anyone just watch the TNT skit? That was great.

yea I saw that....that was hilarious...
but yea, whoever said Kmart would own Kobe is probably crying right now....
J.R. doesn't have the defensive skill to guard Kobe
Najera....just no
Kmart is the best option but he can't keep up with Kobe
Carter (game 1) was destroyed by Kobe
Like I said...I don't think they win a game this series...

So much for Kobe's 80 point game.

In lieu of that TNT skit, I watched the Kobe clip on YouTube a couple times, and without a shadow of a doubt it's fake. I knew it was fake already, but I wanted to watch it to get physical proof as well... two big things...
1) No driver in the car
2) Kobe is standing on the closer side of the car (from the camera it is shown at )... so he is to the left of the car as he jumps.
Props for jumpin that high, because that is real, but there's no chance it's real

Honestly. Who the heck scores 20 points in a quarter and then proceeds to score only 8 more in the rest of the 3 quarters. Monta Ellis could do better than that.

lol jk. I updated the gamecenter and it showed the final score, but it had Kobe at 28 points. I looked at it again, and it shows 49 now. Not bad.

I think its safe to say the only way the Nuggets can stop Kobe is if they pull Katelyn Kristine Faber out of retirement and put her on him...

I wanna see Manu set a pick and have whoever Bell is guarding try and roll around the pick. Manu will bump Bell and they will both fly backwards, acting like a grenade went off between them. And then Bowen will drop The People's Elbow on Bell and act like it was nothing.

Anybody remember when Melo was lobbying for a trade to get Ron Artest at the deadline? He could help a lot with guarding Kobe this series. They'd also be closer to a streetball team than they already are. lol.
Pretty bad what they put on him though... Melo COULD slow him down if he tried on defense. I don't know why George Karl hasn't tried that yet. After all he did put Kenyon Martin on him. Using Melo is not more outlandish than that!

I think if the Wizards win a game in this series it will be tonight.

The Magic played a pitiful half of basketball. Howard is the only guy that has shown up and he's the one I was most worried about, coming into the playoffs. This is disgusting.

there will be no way Melo guards Kobe...he isn't athletic enough to guard him and keep up with him...just like Martin...plus he'd pick fouls very quickly...and you don't want arguably your best player to be in foul trouble early....
they'll likely just keep rotating on Kobe...but that likely will not work...Kobe is on fire and he's fired up for the playoffs...JR Smith keeps talking trash to him and that will just fire him up more...

The Cavs are playing horrible, and the Wizards are playing great. 5 turnovers and it is not even half time. The Wizards are very active tonight, lots of blocks, getting their hands up, swarming to the ball, great passing.
But it is not over. We need to get it together at half time.
