Totally fake. You can tell it's fake because she says waaaay more to back up the claim that the kid isn't his than someone really would if they all they had to do was say, "Our son isn't really yours." There is no point for going into the whole back story of the co-worker other than to guarantee infuriation by the guy, and she wouldn't want to infuriate him. This is completely and totally fake.
