I've read all the resons for drinking it out of that type of glass, but is it that big of a difference than drinking it out of a regular pint glass.

yes.
well. it's more a goblet for the trippels than a wine glass.

Got ya. I've just never opted for purchasing a goblet. Not a huge fan of trippels anyway.

Trappist glasses are worth the purchase, especially if you can get one of good quality. Glass cuts back foaming and doesnt affect taste.

I drank a crap load of PBR last night. And now feel like crap because of it. When you get a 16oz can of PBR and a shot of Whiskey for $6, you can't say no to that deal.

Your choice in beer makes me understand your choice in Football as well. I still don't get why every kid here in Minnesota guzzles that crap down.
4th page? Everyone needs to start drinking some more. Anyone got any suggestions? Last night I tried that Leffe someone suggested on here, and thought it was ok. Not my favorite Belgian.

After numerous requests to the beer guy at Spec's, they finally started carrying my favorite brand. Anyway, this is tonight's beverage of choice.

Drinking some Pliny the Elder while watching the Ducks game.
Tons of hop flavor, low bitterness. Mostly simcoe, it seems. Great dipa.

Yeast. It's bottle-conditioned.

Pliny the Elder is a pretty cool name, too. I like when beers are named after people for some reason.

Anyone ever been to Arizona and had Four Peeks Brewery's Kiltlifter? It is damn amazing.

Bought this for a buddy awhile back. He absolutely raves about it. It is a bit expensive, $7.99 for the 750mL or $12.99 for a 4 pack, but it was definitely worth it.

Awfullyquiet,
Where in Chicago are you from? I ask since when I am at home I work at Binny's Beverage Depot in River Grove. I would recommend stopping by there to check out the beer section. A large amount of new micro brews, imports, and domestics have been added to the store over the last few months.

My brother works for Sam's in the beer department :p
I live next to wrigley. Like next to taco bell next to wrigley. Everything i've ever needed to find, I've found there. The only thing binny's is good for is that i can get ceeegars too

You aren't too far from the Binny's Ivanhoe location on Clark. I am guessing that is the location that you have been to?
