Torain tears ACL
Quote:
NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports Broncos RB Ryan Torain is expected to be placed on injured reserve with what is thought to be a torn ACL in his left knee.
It's a shame. Torain was effective early in Thursday's game before suffering the injury. With Michael Pittman and Andre Hall out for the season and Selvin Young clearly not recovered from his groin injury, the Broncos will be in the market for fresh legs. Fullback Peyton Hillis, recently activated P.J. Pope, and practice squad rookie Cory Boyd are the only healthy options at the moment.

Dayum, the hits keep coming.

SUCKS! I went out on a limb and picked him up and started him this week in Fantasy and even though he had pretty good numbers he could have dominated if not for the injury. Not to mention I was playing Cutler so when all their RB's went down he started throwing every play.

well now you really don't have a running game. I hope the Broncos keep running that 4 and 5 WR sets like they did last night when Ryan went down. It was fun to watch and Cutler was killin it.

Torain was doing pretty good too, sigh
4 RB's on IR now, with another having an injured groin.
I just wonder who the Broncos sign.

Are the Broncos ever going to draft a running back in the first round?

They don't think they have to. With a no name coming in and rushing for 1,000 every year they think it defends their point.

I think it does too. Their scheme works and they'll work it until it doesn't.

Aren't they pissed that the Skins signed Shaun Alexander right now?
I think Tatum Bell is still out there...

Haha no, Shaun Alexander wouldn't be able to run on a high school football team anymore. I think what you meant is aren't the skins pissed the Broncos didn't sign him.

if shanny says that a guy reminds him of terrell davis. i would trust shanny on it.
big loss for the broncos..
and edit: fyi, if you wondered WHY the broncos were in a 5 wide set as the game was closing down, i'm assuming it had something to do with the fact that bj pope was a noob.

He was finding some nice holes and cutback lanes against the Browns. Granted its the Browns, but he was finding the lanes very well before the injury.
