At least they tied. The Jaguars lost to them. The Eagles get half a win, the Jaguars get nothin'.

It seems like you're just trying to find an excuse to bash the eagles, I'm sure a good number of bengals players didn't know either, they just didn't want to admit it.

Or leading your team to 4 consecutive NFC Championships and one superbowl berth. But we conveniently forget little details like that when posting.

Wait, did you really just defend an Eagles player? First you're rooting for Oklahoma, now this? WTF?
McNabb was probably just disappointed that he wasn't going to get a chance to set the NFL record for most pass attempts in a game. But that's another story for another day...
Brian Westbrook....<20 touches...someone who knows more about football explain this to me, please.

maybe they don't want Westbrook to get hurt before the Playoffs and have no one for the running game.

Did you know Andy Reid considers screen passes run plays when he charts the plays? No, seriously. The man is that dense. I can't wait till his ***** ass gets fired at the end of the year.

I realize that they've been disappointing (to say the least) lately, but to completely throw out everything McNabb has done for that organization because Andy Reid is a big blubbering idiot, is ridiculous.

It's kind of ridiculous that he didn't know it because he's getting paid millions to play the game, but at the same time its not something that happens every day/year, so its also understandable. Oh well, now he knows.

I didn't hear about it until today, but McNabb's additional comment about the Super Bowl/playoffs in unbelievable. Un-freaking-believable.
What a moron.

He said he didnt want to know what would happen if this kind of situation happened in the playoffs or super bowl. Pretty much he thinks you can tie in the post season now. ummm yeah. Mcnabb just lost his presser privileges.
Also no one should use the..."Well, the last tie was 6 years ago excuse." Maybe that would work if Mcnabb hadnt been in the league for 10 seasons.
and I hope other Eagles didnt know you couldn't tie either. That just reflects very poorly...I mean seriously.

Nevermind that statement. The last tie was in 2002 Falcons v.s Steelers http://www.pro-football-reference.co...0211100pit.htm The Falcons team played the Eagles that year. So when they were preparing for that game they had to look at the record. So there is no excuse.

It's sad that I knew there was going to be a tie, but he's the QB and captain and a veteran and he didn't know the rules...It's a simple rule, he's not a rookie, and he's also a QB.
I wouldn't of shared that with anyone.

About that captain thing. Don't they tell the captains during the coin toss that there is a tie if the 15 minutes pass with no one scoring.

I love Donovan McNabb.
"I'd hate to see what would happen in the playoffs or the Super Bowl if there was a tie."
Lol.
