Quite possibly the greatest player, or at least the most meaningful, in NFL history.

Baugh was the last remaining member of the original Hall of Fame class of 1963, a class that included such iconic names as Halas, Thorpe, Hutson, Nagurski, Grange and Lambeau.
Arguably the greatest Washington Redskin ever, his passing truly is the end of an era for the NFL.
Baugh still holds the Redskins record for career TD passes with 187 - a remarkable achievement given the era he played in. His 45.1 yd career punting average was the NFL record for over 50 years until broken recently by Shane Lechler. He still holds the single season punting record with a 51.4 avg.
In 1943 Baugh led the NFL in passing, interceptions and punting. He also had 4 touchdown passes and a record 4 interceptions - IN THE SAME GAME.

R.I.P.
He's one of those guys you could put in an era of football (even the modern one), and I think he'd still dominate. Just a pure athlete with loads of talent.
