If Favre Comes Back...
If Favre comes back and the New York Jets don't want him where do you guys think he would end up?
Lions? Vikings? Buccaneers? Rams? 49ers?

I believe if he wants to play he should play. He is still better then any QB the Lions or Vikings have.

If he does choose to come back, and the Jets let him go; he'll probably just retire right then and there. But if not I guess the Vikings could make a small push for him but I don't see any other teams going after him like they did last year. His Jet season wasnt all that great.

I hope he's done, his overall play isn't good enough anymore to compensate for his 'gunslinger' (aka stupid decision making) mentality.
However, if he created even half the hype he did when he came to the Jets, the Lions might actually have someone watch one of their games...

I have no problem with the Heat he's facing. He should have to take all the blame and fault for the season collapse, since he was getting all of the recognition when they were doing well even though they were winning because of the O-line and guys like Thomas Jones and Kris Jenkins.

Packers, bench Rodgers, and let Favre carry the team back to the NFC Championship and possibly the Super Bowl? :D

If Favre is going to play like he did the least 5 games of this season, then that might not actually be true.

I hope he'll find some way to check his ego and make a decision about his future very quickly so I don't have to hear about his Wrangler Jeans lovin' ass all offseason.

I got a bold one...Patriots! Cassel leaves and they want a insurance policy for Brady who won't play in 2009.

I'm guessing Favre won't come back, but if he does it will be with the Jets.

Why aren't the Jets an option? If he comes back, and I don't think he will, he'll be under contract with the Jets and if he wants to go somewhere he'll have to ask for a trade/release......again. I hope to God that he's not stupid enough to do that again...

I'm not so sure the Lions, Vikings, Buccaneers, Rams, and 49ers would want him at this point either, haha. (kind of kidding, I'm sure one team would want him eventually....right? I mean, he's Brett Favre! The greatest torso in football!)

I think he retires or stays with the Jets. Right now Farve will lose a game for a team as many times as he wins one and the only teams that would be interested would be ones that have a playoff caliber team but maybe need something extra from the QB position and take a gamble with Favre ie Minnesota but I could be wrong but did the Packers not have an agreement that the Jets couldnt trade him to the Vikings?

Yeah, there was a clause that prevented the Jets from trading Favre to the Vikings (I think they would have had to give up multiple high picks) but I'm not sure if that still applies for next year.

i doubt we see a fiasco like last year because the Jets will have the balls to just drop/bench favre unlike the Packers who let him hold them by the throat every offseason...

Favre is no longer a football player, but a mythical being. Because only a mythical being could be talked about like this. A football player in Favre's situation would be, without a doubt, finished.
