I will take a shot at making a top 10. This is a personal favorite list.
1. The Wrestler
2. Gran Torino
3. Milk
4. Revolutionary Road
5. Frost/Nixon
6. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
7. Zack and Miri Make A Porno
8. The Dark Knight
9. Forgetting Sarah Marshall
10. In Bruges
I still have yet to see a bunch of movies I hear are great like Doubt, Synecdoche New York, The Reader, Slumdog Millionaire, and The Changeling. When I see them all my list will change.

That's sarcasm right? Semi-Pro was all around bad. Will Ferrel can always snag a few laughs, but him playing that type of character had been done to death.

The Bear scene and the scene with the gun around the table are the only watchable things about that movie.

I was thinking the same thing. It is kind of open for a sequel though.

I hate to say this, but can someone explain to me why the wrestler is so great? From the trailer, it looks like a fictional version of Beyond the Mat with Mickey Rourke playing a cross between Jake the Snake Roberts and Terry Funk.

Trying to explain the greatness of The Wrestler is tough. It is just such a brilliant movie in every way and the fact that I keep hearing people tell me they have no intrest in the movie annoys the **** out of me.
I hope Brad Childress watches The Wrestler and dies because of its awesomeness.

I'd call it good/great but, not brilliant. But, I def. liked it. Just my two cents.
Another good movie that I finally got around to seeing...The Assassination of Jesse James. I bought it months ago and I actually caught it in on HBO today. ha. I have too many movies for my own good, I suppose but, I'm glad I decided to watch it. Pitt, Casey, and Mr. Rockwell...awesome. Casey isnt your typical actor...a unique talent, who is great in everything, in an unconventional way. The critics werent all kind to this one but, I def. enjoyed it. Not for everyone given the duration or even the subject matter but, I was into it and yeah it was long but, didnt seem all that long in my eyes.

Isnt it amazing how they made Michelle Pfeiffer seem like 15 years younger? Great effects.
