I'm just glad the Eagles lost.
Rooting for the Cardinals so Fitz and Boldin have a ring. Adrian Wilson deserves one too.
Probably should read through the thread but why was Boldin arguing with the OC?

I think Boldin was getting upset with the play calling because they weren't putting up any points and the Eagles were coming back, at the time.

Idle thought - why did folks insist that Joe Flacco was playing so well in the playoffs? Outside of a handful of throws, in particular the TD pass to Mason in the Titans game, I thought he was absolutely awful. In the lead to the game, Nance said "Flacco has been outstanding this postseason" or something to that effect... really? Completing 40 percent of your passes qualifies as outstanding?

because he led his team to 2 playoff wins as a rookie Duh.
The defense left his offense out to dry and with his arm and his arm alone he willed them to win.
Flacco was to the Ravens playoffs what Peyton Manning was to the Colts Regular season right?
In all reality... He basically got way to much credit for his team winning.

Ya, Warner and Fitz we're both also caught on camera yelling at Haley, he got way too conservative with his play calling in the 3rd quarter.

"Roethlisberger is big, he's strong, and has taken more punishment than any quarterback in the league the last couple of years, perhaps save Leftwich."
nice to see Wilbon perpetuating this myth about his boy. Leftwich gets the perception of being a tough guy for his time at Marshall. I don't doubt that. But that does not automatically equal "taking alot of punishment." The Jaguars O-line was, overall, average during Byron's tenure in Jacksonville. Not terrible as such a statement would suggest.

He's also forgetting that Jon Kitna has probably taken about four times as many hits as Big Ben has.

yeah, I was gonna mention Kitna.
Actually, now that I remember, David Garrard led the league in being-hits this season. by a large margin.

Well the line wasn't average this year due to injuries

So new rule, NBA: Unless you have a root canal at halftime, SHUT UP AND PLAY!

are you referring to my comment about the O-line during Leftwich's time in Jacksonville? That's for his tenure overall, not including now. the Garrard 2007 line was very good, and Garrard 2008 was very bad.

2. What was going through the mind of the misguided juveniles who used gasoline to desecrate the front lawn of the house in Chandler, Ariz., where McNabb and his wife, Roxie, live with their children over the offseason. According to a friend of Mrs. McNabb’s, “Go Cards” and other similar messages were burned into the front lawn one night last week. This had to be especially scary to the couple’s four-year-old daughter, Alexis, who was staying in the house with Roxie and the couple’s six-week-old twins. Apparently one of the culprits was identified after leaving a box at the scene with a mailing label affixed bearing his name and address, so we’re obviously not talking about criminal masterminds here. But it’s tough to imagine that anyone over the age of eight doesn’t understand that burning something on the lawn of a house occupied by African-Americans carries deeper social overtones that are highly disturbing. I’m told Donovan took a photo of the damaged lawn and used it as a motivating force for Sunday’s game. I hope it’s the last time he or any other professional athlete ever has that opportunity.

If an eagles fan would have done this it would be national news. Just sayin.

I can't believe fans would go that route to do that to someone's household when they have children.
