I am intrigued by this guy.

At first he screamed out Clarence Moore to me. But he has good intangibles and can block. He is very tall too. It says he has average hands but that is already a upgrade over Moore. Plus look at his stats. He averaged a lot of yards. I know it was against weak comp but he averaged 25.7 yards a catch his SR year thats impressive.

so how do you feel about him?

I'd like him, even if we get a WR in the first. He would immediately upgrade our red zone offense, and he would be a nice option over the middle of the field.

but I think he will be available later in the draft. Granted he may be slow but he will have 6+ inches and 30+ pounds on the average CB. HEck he weighs as much as LBs. Yes he may be slow in the 40 time, but look at those stats he can play. Even if he can't get seperation he fits in w/ every other WR we have, except that he can actually catch a jump ball. He gives us a legit option for the jump ball, something we tried w/ Clayton and Mason this year and scared me every time we did it.

Bleh he doesn't impress me. Gets no separation and isn't a great acrobatic athletic wideout. No different than Marcus Smith to me. Someone like Greg Carr or possibly even Patrick Turner will be available in the 7th or undrafted. I'd want Marko Mitchell who I have as one of my top 5 sleepers and have called him Ocho Cinco esque.

I haven't seen any of him, so I can't really comment. Small school doesn't bother me, Chris Gocong (Eagles LB, former Cal Poly DE) was a similarly ranked prospect. Incredible production, but not the fastest or quickest out there (for the position). Barden probably developed some bad tendencies that could be corrected, but the speed issue could be a problem unless he becomes much better of a route runner.

Sorry I didnt say anything before but, WE NEED THIS GUY!!!!!! If we dont resign Clarence Moore (shut up, we still could), we should get this guy. He is TALL and I have a bunch of friends at Cal Poly. So short story draft him immediately. Trade back in round one and nab him with our top pick.
