It helps the team, for sure, but some people are acting as if Peyton Manning is being self-less and sacrificing monetarily. That simply isn't the case.

Yup, which was what I was trying to say. He helps out the team but it's like fine tuning a car or refurbishing a building.

Carson Palmer did the same thing to allow us to sign some big name guys to longer contracts.
