I agree with the basketball comment. College and even High School basketball is so much better. NBA puts too much emphasis on individuals, it's not about the games or the team anymore, it's just the "insert player here" show. That's why I'm proud to be a Raptors fan, we play like a team.

my history teacher claims the reason americans don't accept soccer or hockey in the way the rest of the world does is because games can end in a tie(which can't NFL games?) and we as highly competitive people can't get into that. idk if i agree but w.e
