don't get me wrong, there are plenty of good amps you can buy that are used.
all depends on what you are playing and what sound you're looking for.
i mean, my friend bought a soldano t-100 (the yamaha version), for like 600... although that's considerably more metal and high gain delish than most people are looking for, normally the yamaha's sell for 1200...
or go classic, like a sovtek... sovtek's are amazing pieces of work, if you don't mind not switching channels... the clean is just a fantastic piece of work... and the distortion has enough grit and tone to make me a little squirmy sometimes.
Yea, I mean there are definitely some good amps out there I can get for a decent price but being a college student leaves me with little to spend on anything.
I like 'em all, but this one is just fantastic live. So epic.
Another epic and one of my favorite songs ever.

I can't imagine the people of 100,000+ screaming your guitar riff back at you as you play it. Gives me chills.

lol that's one of the few Muse songs I don't like. But I can listen to any live version of any Muse song.
How can you not like Stockholm Syndrome?
the fuzz on the song is very. very. very tremendous.
iron maiden also gets too little love among most circles. i think it's terrifying on how fantastic instrumentally they are... murray and smith and the dualing guitars is a classic example of how to do more with less... you don't have to be power shredders and guitar virtuoso's to make metal complex. you have to just kick ass and take names.

pelican's first two albums were good. the last one was... only alright... i don't think they understand that you can have drony songs without having drony drums...

Yeah. Being a drummer myself, Pelican's drummer bothers me. Completely different style of playing from the drummer in Rosetta. You can see how it works so much better.
I ******* heart Intronaut. They are amazing live. They opened up for Isis at a show in Baton Rouge and were incredible. They are also opening up for Mastodon in April in New Orleans.
Mastodon - Crack the Skye definitely isn't as good as Blood Mountain or Leviathan. In fact, I'm a little disappointed considering how good those last two albums were.
Sarf was talking about Buckethead so I decided to put on my favorite song of his. I remember talking about him not too long ago on here, so Ill go ahead and post up my fav Bucket song.
i listened to panopticon today for the first time in forever.
melts in your mouth, not in your hand.
