Kyle Orton gets booed by Denver Fans
http://www.chicitysports.com/2009/08...booed-by-fans/
Kyle Orton gets booed by Denver Bronco fans at a record crowd of over 13,000. Sucks to be him right now I guess. How do you think he will do? He's showing some early signs of struggling.

booing a guy who hasn't even played for your team has always seemed like a stupid thing

It's not his fault they traded Cutler. Pretty stupid to take their frustration out on him.

Hate to break it to you...but that neck is bare! He's like Samson, he draws his power from that thing, he better grow it back soon. Plus it's cold as balls in Denver. What is he thinking?
This guy new what was up.

It wasnt just Orton, they booed at several people during the practice. The kicker, punter, the waterboy, Dog the bounty hunter, Kip Winger....etc

I don't know what kind of expectations you had for him, but Kyle Orton's been showing signs of struggling his entire career...

Thats a shame. Its not his fault the Broncos traded a franchise QB for a very average guy like himself. The fans should be mad at the front office and Ortons gonna take alot of heat for it.

How could you boo this man?

To be fair, they were booing him after he threw a bunch of interceptions.

They really have nothing to cheer about in Denver. I'm sure booing Orton was more of a message toward the front office rather than the actual player. Then again, I may be overestimating Denver's poltical abilities.

Orton will take the brunt of all frustrations that are directed toward the team. Although the coach and even GM are the culprits, Orton is the man leading the team and is the focal point of attention (as the QB always is). When he struggles fans will be all over him. Certainly isn't his fault he's in this position, but he's going to take the heat. Sad but true.

I think that the Denver fans are still upset about the trade. If Orton does really well then I think he'll be ok but like right now if he struggles the fans aren't going to give him much time before the jump ship.

This season will be an interesting test for Denver fans. You always hear about what great fans they are, but truth be told they haven't had a bad team in so long it's hard to tell.

They booed like everyone...buncha angry fans. Like others have said, I assume that it is more about the front office. Orton isn't a bad QB, he just had a rough practice. I doubt that they would have cheered like crazy if he had a fantastic practice.
Still looking forward to this season.

The stories overexaggerate the fans booing Orton.
There were some small boo's, and they also cheered when he threw TD passes.
Heck, they boo'd Matt Prater harder than they did Orton.
