The Battle for back-up QB
Recently it's come out that Matt Leinart will have to fight not for the starting QB role but for the right to become Warner's backup. I haden't seen alot of Arizona's #3 QB St. Pierre but during their Preseason game last night againest the Steelers he looked horrible(I thought Palko the #4 QB looked way better) while Leinart had the best perfomance by a QB that game IMHO. Leinart struggled as starter but he was still a young QB and from what i've seen and heard from the coaches he's matured alot. The reason this is a big deal is cuz Kurt Warner is 38 years old...it's a very real possibility that whoever is the back-up will have to step up into the starter role this season. It's no secret that Arizona's bread and butter is their passing game so if Warner goes down the rest of the season will ride on whether or not the new starter can play at least close to the level Warner did in 2008. So who do you think should be back-up QB? Matt Leinart or Brian St. Pierre?
