Are we going to see more 4-3?
Considering all the defensive line picks in the draft, does anyone besides myself think it entirely possible we may employ a hybrid defense, running a mix of 3-4 and 4-3 on a regular basis?
If the Pats sign Taylor[I am all but certain they will], he could stand up in the 3-4 or go down in the 4-3, Seymour is a 3-4 end or 4-3 tackle, our DL has tons of depth for both systems.
As for as LB goes, I think you could put Mayo inside or outside in a 4-3, the guy is faster than people give him credit for. I think he ran a 4.6 40 last year.
I wouldn't be surprised at all to see a lot of Nickel and Dime, using a 4 man line and 2 LBs, to take advantage of our [now] deep secondary.
Thoughts?
