The WR core is crowded now
With picking up 2 wr's in the draft, our wr core has suddenly gotten very crowded. Which wr's do you think will stick around and which will be fighting for a spot?
Ginn
Bess
Camarillo
London
Wilford
Turner
Hartline

Add in Pat White although I'm sure his roster spot will be the one that belonged to John Beck but White will still see alot of time in the slot.
The final 5 should be Ginn, Bess, Turner, Hartline and London IMO.

Camarillo is supposedly not healthy yet. Never mind those injuries take 2 years to fully recover from.
Besides, he is exactly the same player as Bess and Hartline who are both cheaper, offer more ST potential and have a much higher ceiling.
Camarillo is just a guy. An injured guy at that. Much rather give his PT to guys that have more upside and long term potential. Especially given that Bess and Hartline bring the same thing to his spot and Pat White will likely take some of those reps as well.

Nate Jones is just a guy. Tyrone Culver is just a guy. Why doesnt that statement apply to them as well? Pat White isnt playing WR by the way. He'd be the number 8th guy on the depth chart if he did.

Turner won't make it out of camp. The Lbers will be able to cover him.

Corps, not core. Core is like the center of something. As in apple core. Corps means a collection of individuals that have a common job or role. Like the Marine Corps.
And yes, I'm a grammar nazi.

I have been a very anti-Turner USC fan for most of his tenure at USC, but he did impress me (and scouts) at the senior bowl and pro day work-outs. I always criticized him for not having that arrogant "I'mma dominate you" attitude/swagger that Jarrett and BMW had, but that has been both of those players downfalls in the league. Turner is willing to learn and get better (and he has drastically from his junior to senior years) and is a hard-worker.
I doubt he get's cut, the dolphins don't have a WR like him on the roster. Wilford is not a legit redzone lob into the corner of the endzone kinda guy.

He's got as much upside as any WR in the draft not named Crabtree, Maclin or Harvin. The only real thing holding him back from a physical standpoint is his average speed.
I'm willing to bet that at worst he makes it as a 4th WR, redzone guy and ST player.
But he certainly has some upside to be a good number 2 in this league and he has alot off good things about him. If he wasn't such a huge recruit out of HS, people wouldnt be nearly as down on him as they are. But because of that HS ranking he has the underachiever label and people hate that.
He could certainly be a late bloomer.
While I think he was a reach, I do think he will become a solid player for us and he is certainly much needed in our offense.

Well it looks like our WR's are finally start to shape up now. Ginn and Bess looks to be our starter, with Cam our 3rd guy and Turner and Hartline our 4th and 5th. The other WR's will likely be out the door.
