If you're not a movie snob, see Law Abiding Citizen. Now.
The ending is a little bit of a cop out, but up until then it's sick.

Err..."damn good" might be going too far.
I think Watchmen was a good adaptation but not a particularly good movie. It sacrificed a whole lot in an effort to squeeze as much of the plot in as it did, including the entire meaning behind the plot, the feel of the storytelling of the book, and quite a few of the more poignant moments. A few scenes were admittedly done well and I should really reserve my final opinion until I see Snyder's cut of it, but the truth is that some director would have had to take some liberties to truly communicate what makes the Watchmen story special. I'm still really sad that Aronofsky didn't wind up getting the project, I think he would have been excellent.
Anway...
This is what I watched tonight (Do you have enough Kurosawa in your life?)

How to play.
Simply start with the letter “A,” and post the title of one of your favorite movies. The next player posts their favorite movie title beginning with a letter “B.” For instance, post the title “Apocalypse Now.” The next player could post the movie title “Battlefield Earth.”[/IMG]

I've heard 2/3rds of Law Abiding Citizen is a good movie and the last 1/3rd is crappy.
IMO

The first two-thirds is indeed badass as hell, and yes, the last third is just a lame copout ending.

While on P movies, I just watched Phone Booth. Same random watchable movie that it was 5 years ago. Ben Foster is money as Big Q.

Anybody remember those one threads where you posted a scene and members had to guess the movie?
