Broncos deny intrest in McNabb

According to PFT, The Denver Broncos have denied any intrest and talks with the Eagles about #5. Sal Palontonio, reported that the Browns, Bills and Denver had already had talks with Philly.

This was on the Denver Post site as well... I don't know why you'd waste your breath denying that kind of thing. Rumors are rumors. When the team feels compelled to respond, that makes me think there is something more to it. Of course, recent history doesn't help either as the things the team has denied have all too often come to pass...

Perhaps it is a matter of semantics - sure, they haven't talked to the Eagles about McNabb... but that doesn't mean they didn't talk to the Eagles about one of their other QBs.
