Courtney Brown

The Cal-Poly SLO product worked out at San Jose as part of their pro day and he really stood out with eye-popping numbers. He originally started school there as a wide receiver and was moved to DB in 2004. Brown (6-1 3/8, 200) ran two 40s, notching a 4.35 and 4.32. He had a vertical jump of 41 ½ inches, a 10-foot-11 broad jump, a 4.07 short shuttle, a 7.10 three-cone and 15 bench presses.

I am a fan. I love our last Cal Poly SLO player and I loved their product from last year as well. They always have 1 guy who is just a FREAK athlete, this guy is no different, I wonder where he's slated...if he's there in the 5th round I don't think I could pass on him, but I may use something as early as a compensation 3rd or 4th round pick. I mean look at those numbers...lol, I know we're not supposed to look at just that, but those are insane numbers.

Dude come on oxy. You couldve picked better words than "peaked my interests."

Those are ridiculous numbers. Have you heard anything else about him? How is he in coverage? Like every year, there is a DB with amazing combine numbers, but hardly pans out into the NFL.

I haven't heard much of anything else to be honest with you, but then again, who does hear about Cal Polly SLO? All I know is we got Jordan Beck from there, last year's biggest riser came from there, and this guy could be on his way as well.

Touche. All I know is he would rock in Madden with me controlling him. Maybe there are some scouting reports on him?

All I know is I thought about someone else when I saw "Courtney Brown." LOL
