I think TitleTown is just trying to lull us into a false sense of security so that he can get the last laugh the next time he takes one of us duck hunting.

Once as a child, my sisters and I were throwing rocks at a lake that had a bunch of ducks in it. We were throwing them past them in an attempt to coax them closer to the shore so we could pet the ducks. I believe my 7 year old arm failed me, and I threw a nonliteral duck, which then hit a baby duck, killing the little bugger and sending it belly up. We all freaked out and started running while my older sister took her shoes off and tried going into the lake to save it. She was unsuccessful... Knowlingly I was guilty of murder, I cunningly blamed my little sister for it, thus scarring her for life.

I should probably adopt a baby duck now to atone for my sins...

I also approve of Darkwing...or Scrambles McDuck.

I had a friend who would always mess with the ducks when he came over. My dad would always tell him to stop messing with the ducks, but he would always do it. One time he did so when the females had eggs . . . OMFG it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen to this day . . .

The male duck jumped/flapped (domesticated ducks can't really fly) up in the air, squakin' like crazy. It landed directly on his head, got its feet kind of knotted up in his hair, and continued with the sqaukin' and flapping while pecking his head like mad. He was crying, freaking out trying to swat the duck off his head . . .

It was like watching someone who is being swarmed by some bees. You know that crazy looking, frantic, run away while swatting wildly at your own head thing? Yeah, like that, only with a 12 pound duck in attack mode . . .

Funny, funny stuff. No broken arms or even significant damage from all the pecking. He never did **** with the ducks again, though.

All of the cons (if there are any) will be outweighed by the fact that you have a duck.
Think of all the things you could do with said duck:

-take it for a walk (don't forget the leash)
-go swimming
-snowshoeing (shouldn't ducks be good at this because of their webbed feet?)

looking back, and thinking long and hard about this, there really are no negatives to owning a duck.

This is a perfect time for the duck joke...

Duck walks into a grocery store and asks the manager if he has any cheese. The manager gets mad, throws the duck out, and tells him not to come back.

The duck comes back the next day and asks the manager if he has any cheese. The manager throws the duck out again and tells him if he comes back he will nail his beak to the floor.

The duck comes back a third day. He asks the manager if he has any nails. The Manager looks at the duck and laughs. "This isn't a hardware store. It's a grocery store... of course we don't have any nails". The duck looks at him and asks if he has any cheese.

We didn't cancel the order, he should be here in two weeks. Right now we're leaning towards naming it Brian, after the roommate that doesn't want it, and making him Brian 2.

And yes, pictures should be no problem.

*EDIT: Brian is the roommate we ASSUME doesn't want it. He won't know about it until it gets here.
