Paul Allen of the Vikings is pretty ******* good. He is so enthusiastic. I almost prefer to listen to the Vikes on the radio than watch them sometimes because Paul Allen is that good.
Paul Allen is a great announcer if you're looking for a Viking homer to announce your games. Haha.
I like PA's show on KFAN but I wouldn't like him calling me team, he's much to biased. I prefer a somewhat objective call of the game.

I love me some Greg Papa. All homerism aside, I do think he's one of the better team broadcasters out there. Unfortunately, his partners are usually total idiots.
Considering I watch every game on tv it's tough to not be a homer, based solely on my extremely limited experience of other teams' radio announcers. So I won't chime in on the NFL part...
However, I'll throw this out there, as a die-hard yankee fan, suzyn waldman makes me want to stab my ears with a spoon. I mean on one hand, it's cool that a broad knows about sports, but on the other she is absolutely maddening.

I noticed most local radio announcers are extremely biased and im not a big fan of that.
I like Bob Papa of the Giants, because while like everyone else he'll have some bias, he's not NEARLY as bad as some of the other guys I've heard. He's actually pretty good for a local guy.
Philly's announcer (forgetting his name) is a legend so I give him the nod too.

Just said it above, Merrill Reese. For a Giants fan you say a lot of nice things about the Eagles, I like it. I have a lot of friends that are Giants fans, and they are too big homers to ever give the Eagles their due.
