Well, it almost happened. Disappointed with the result, but I can't be disappointed with how we played. Only 0:02 away from beating our biggest rival and the #2 player in the country. We weren't making the NCAA tournament regardless...

Well I have no problem telling myself that we were 0:02 away from taking down the #1 player in the country.

Yeah, Turner is basically a lock for POY at this point.
Wall is the better NBA prospect but he hasn't been as good during the conference season as he was early in the year.

Turner will just drop 18,8 and 6 in his career and be a guy that gets 4 rings

That Turner shot looks exactly like the one Nick Robinson hit against Arizona back in the day. Epic fail in the last minute of the game by Arizona. Painful to watch.

Illinois shot like 60% in the 1st half, while Wisconsin shot like .00001% and the score was only 29-20.
Add in that no one scored the first 3 minutes of the 2nd half...yea, this game is like watching paint dry.

I don't know how a division 1 basketball team shoots 20% from the field. The worst part about it is that I'm actually forced to cheer for Wisconsin here to knock Illinois off the bubble.

One of the greatest rivalries in NCAA history. Should be a good game

This is the worst I've seen Wisconsin play in a long time. But hey, as long as we keep shooting threes, we're bound to break out of it at some point...

BTW Desean Butler, Scotty Reynolds, or hell even Greg Monroe not being Big East POY is in absolute joke. Since when does the award to go the best NBA prospect. Wes Johnson was only the 2nd or 3rd best player on his own team for more than half of the games. He's a great pro prospect but he doesn't make others better. He just benefited form guys like Rautins and Jardine penetrating.
