What depressing game, Lafayette couldnt hit anything from three...except rim. :( And Ryan Willen continues to piss me off, he is their bast player BY FAR and he doesnt shoot at all. He took 8 freaking shots. Finished with 16 and 10.

Also Screw C.J. McCollum, that kid is too good to be playing in the Patriot league. He's like a Steph Curry starter kit.

Damn dominant performance by Gtown. No one blows Marquette out of the water, they usually play everyone tight. Greg Monroe has been putting on a show for the NBA scouts. Top 10 pick if he should declare IMO. His passing is ridiculous, and he is so improved with his post moves. Maybe I'm an optimist but I get the 4 year student athlete Tim Duncan vibe from him. It wouldn't be a shocker for a Georgetown player to stay all 4 years. Hibbert was projected a possible top 5 pick after his sophomore year and stayed 2 more years. That ultimately hurt his draft stock but still Gtown probably has the highest graduation percent of any major conference team. Only 4 players in the school's history have declared early for the draft. Although half of them in recent memory in Jeff Green and Dajuan Summers.

As an obvious Villanova homer I wanted Scottie to win BE POTY and think he may have had a legit shot at it around midway through the conference schedule, but I would've definitely gone Butler.

BTW that reminds me I fcking hate how Seth Curry will be eligible next year at Duke. I watched every game of his freshman season last year at Liberty and he doesn't have the PG skills or body strength that Stephen had his last 2 years at Davidson, but sh*t he's just as deadly as a shooter. It's going to suck to see him in that backcourt with Kyrie, who is a bit overrated though IMO.

It's nice to actually win a close game against a good team for once. I like our chances against Purdue without Hummel too. If we win tomorrow we should be a lock.
