They really need help on the D-line. They also need more picks in the draft.

While the Redskins haven't cared much for the draft in recent years, they have, in the Snyder era, at times, shown the ability to really work the draft. A few years back, a lot of the thought was that the Skins would reach for Patrick Ramsey, and there was some commotion that it would be justified as there was murmurs of interest. But the Skins worked the draft real well and landed Ramsey at a better value spot, along with getting additional assets.

Now, there have been some questionable draft decisions of late. I'm not sure they needed to deal up to get Rocky McIntosh last year (although a lot of people ended up saying yes, they needed to do that). But relative to the machinations related to the draft directly, there hasn't been as much to critique as some may argue. The only quesitonable move directly dealing with the draft was Jason Campbell ... but there was heavy buzz that Campbell had passed Rodgers on many boards, and the bigger concern with the Campbell deal wasn't the deal itself, but the fact that it was leaked out who the Redskins were targetting.

It is fair to say, though, that the Redskins in recent history haven't valued their draft picks, but relative to machinations directly involved with the draft, they aren't that bad. Relative to valuing picks? They are bad.
