Merlin hopes to escalate quickly but not get out of hand.
Default McNabb to the Skins. Ramifications for the Bucs?

Fingers crossed this will now mean the Rams take a QB at #1, if not, we're screwed, if the two DT's go 1+2, I doubt we'll be able to trade back?

We all know their isn't much movement at the top of Rd1, so it would be highly unlikely IMO, that any team who, "may" be interested in a QB, IE: Seahawks/Browns/Oak/Bills etc? would now try and move up, they can pretty much sit tight and let things play out, even the Jags may pull a suprise if either QB is still available?

If the Rams do select Clausen/Bradford, at least we're guaranteed one of the big two.....

I'm more concerned what this will mean for us in Rd2 of the draft, the Eagles now have the Skins 2nd, (#37) this means we may see Philly go FS in the 1st, say Earl Thomas and CB in the second?

Taking Thomas may force our hand into going CB with our 2a pick?

I think this trade puts us in a good position either way. It takes McNabb off the market leaving Bradford to St Louis a likely pick.

We shouldn't worry about what Philly will do and reach on a CB. If they take one at 37 we shouldn't be forced into taking one prior to that. The value will be there in the 3rd round.

Maybe Campbell to St Louis....!?!

Who do you see as "value" in the 3rd? and what would his status be this season?

My personal favourite is Brandon Ghee, but there is a few players on his level who would be available - hopefully.

I could see someone like Ghee as a nickel back his rookie year.

That if Suh and McCoy go 1/2... we won't be able to trade down cause everyone now knows the skins are not taking Sammy B.

I wouldn't complain, but surly Ghee won't be their in the 3rd, especially after the numbers he put up?

There is a great chance Ghee is there. He could sneak into round two sure, but I've seen a lot of projections where he goes in the 3rd round. Plus his interception numbers in college really hurt his stock. He didn't have a whole lot.

I think if Suh and McCoy got 1, 2, the Bucs will have a good chance of trading down.

I do think Bradford will go 1, Suh 2, and the Bucs will take McCoy.

I don't buy Okung to DET for some reason.
