Interesting read. He is really working hard to shed that weight. He is showing that he not only wants a a long term deal, but he wants to be in Tampa. Mark Dominik and the coaching staff would not give him a new deal bc of his work ethic and weight gain issues. After reading this article, it really looks like he wants to be here.

I really think we should try and negotiate a reasonable contract with him over the next 8 days. If nothing can be worked out, I say trade him to dallas for their 1st pick late in round 1 and take Charles Brown.
