I hope soon. He's been lightsout so far this season. Easily our best reliever. I hope he moves to the closer role and Dotel is our set up man. But I would say there is a fair chance he'll be it next season.
Edit: I also won't be surprised if Hanrahan is the closer.

Pirates win in 14. Finally win a series after losing 7 straight. Off to LA to play the Dodgers in 4.

I can't believe the pirates took a series @ Milwaukee. Hopefully they can build off this, that losing streak crushed their record.

I forgot who it was, someone said the Pirates are an 80 win team this year. I think someone on mlb network.

If Charlie Morton decides he wants to stop throwing batting practice, they COULD reach 80. I don't think they will, though. Season is still young, though. A lot can happen.

Too bad they can't catch routine fly balls. Nor are they sweeping the Phillies. This is some of the worst baseball I've seen throughout an entire series in a while.

The fact that Dave Trembley allows Jeremy Guthrie to continue to start makes me fully believe he's trying to get fired and rightfully so. Guthrie is garbage. Absolute garbage.

Absolutely atrocious call in the Twins/Tigers game. Span had the ball in his glove for a full 2 seconds, then it falls out of his glove on the transfer and the runners are called safe.
What a joke.

Tillman threw a no hitter tonight in AAA. Think he takes Guthrie's next start?
