I just got back from my second viewing of IM2 and I actually liked it better the second time for some reason.

Kick-ass was awesome. Just how brutal it is caught me off guard. Oh and I had no clue Nick Cage was in it. That was automatic win right there.

Iron Man 2 was ok. It wasn't anything special but I still enjoyed it.

Just watched Transformers 2 for the first time today. I didn't think it was the greatest thing in the world but did enjoy it. I pretty much knew Prime would be back but I thought the enemy would put up a better fight against him. It also just made me fall in love with Megan Fox all over again. They showed her lips while her mouth was open like 4854395994 times in the movie.

The only problem I had with Iron man 2 was the action scenes (besides Black widows awesome one). Over way to quickly, but other then that it stuck with what worked which is alright with me. I went into IM2 skeptical but came away happy, tho I liked kick ass more.

I've got it, though not through the Wii, through Xbox 360.

It's pretty cool for just 10 bucks (I've got the cheapest bundle). The best movies are usually not available to see immediately on the Xbox (guessing it's the same for Wii), but you can order them by mail. It's much more convenient than I'd thought it'd be. You'll get an email saying when you can expect it, and you can keep it as long as you want. It comes with the envelope you'll send it back and a neat packaging system.

There are many good movies you can see immediately though, and I usually search for them on the Netflix site as opposed to looking for them on the console. There are many more options there. Just add whatever movie you want to watch to "Instant Queue" and you're set.

It's also great for TV shows. I've been seeing tons of stuff lately. Saw three seasons of 30 rock and 7 of South Park in the last two weeks alone, and there are many other shows.

Overall, it's a pretty good deal for 10 bucks. I'd recommend it. Anyone else recommend it?

Yea, it's supposedly like the same thing they have for 360 and PS3. My cousin and I tried it, and the only thing I didn't like was you can't search for a title, or at least we couldn't find out how. You just scroll through genres/titles...it was really annoying.

Other than that, just like with the other systems, not everything is available on it and Wii probably can't stream HD (idk can it?).

Edit: yea, like he said above, you're probably better off doing everything on a computer, like adding movies to your queue, and then going on Wii to watch.

It's been a while since I last saw Serpico and the main reason was because I was greatly disappointed with my first viewing. I remember thinking, "Wow, this is a fairly boring movie." Pacino's performance is the only reason why I came back, and the fact that I blind bought it about two years ago, but after the second viewing, I did find it more enjoyable. It relies heavily on Pacino's explosive performance, but that's about it. I think my biggest problem is with Sidney Lumet. Before the Devil Know's You're Dead is the only movie of his that I thought was an entertaining movie. All his movies are so simple with simple shots of people talking, and then cut and the next scene of people talking, then cut and on to the next. Without Pacino's performance, I think this would probably be a bad film. The main reason why I liked it more the second time was Pacino. I think the film disappointed me so greatly the first time that I became bored with Pacino as well. Now, I see it and Pacino is the only reason worth watching. He has some great scene's and I do consider this one of his best. He also tore the 70s apart. The Godfather I & II, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, ... And Just for All - that is ******* impressive and it makes me wonder if another actor had a decade as good as that one. That's 5 incredible performances. I really want to see The Panic in Needle Park. Has anyone?



I had only heard about good reviews for Closer and never actually heard anyone talk about it or even seen a preview, so I had no idea what I was getting into. I was pleasantly surprised by the originality in the writing and the performances. These are not my favorite actors and I consider Law and Owen to be two of the most dull and boring actors in Hollywood. Their conversations reminded me something from Pulp Fiction in that, there's really no point or purpose to these conversations as far plot goes, but it's just enjoyable to listen to them talk, or type in a chat room on-line and literally destroy each other with words. Clive Owen gives a very good performance. I would say it's his best that I've seen, by far. It's a pretty fascinating movie and I think it had to be one of the better movies of 2004. Excellent movie.



I anticipated this movie because it's Bret Easton Ellis, and I am a big fan of Billy Bob Thornton, who is one of the one more underrated actors in Hollywood, as well as Mickey Rourke and what appeared to be a talented cast. After 20 min I wanted to turn it off. I can't believe I made it through the complete 1 hr and 30 min run time. At the 40 minute mark I thought, "What is the ******* point?" Why was this movie made? Who are these people? Who even ******* cares? The Informers was one of the worst movies I've have seen in a long time. I don't care about Amber Heard's tits in every other scene, and every scene she's in. I didn't even care. Jon Foster, the guy who plays the main character (I'm sure none of you know the name - there's no reason to), gives a bad Christian Bale impression of Patrick Bateman. He's just awful. Rourke's role is worthless, he keeps popping up and you don't know who he is, what the **** he's doing or why he's on the ******* screen. Then you got this one kid and his dad going to dinner and going to the beach and what is the ******* point of seeing them mumble through their lines? This is one of the most pointless movies I have ever seen. Awful. I hated it.

I absolutely hated Closer the first time I saw it. In fact, I barely finished. However, I actually really liked it the second time I saw it. I don't know why the discrepancy between the first two viewings but I'm glad I ended up seeing it again.

The Informers was a colossal disappointment for me. It's like the director didn't get the book at all. Not only that, but they also left one of the better parts of the book in my opinion.
