I come back from running an hear the announcer say Kobe had 19 pts on 7-9 shooting in the 3rd quarter i thought "wow Kobe put the hammer down, this game is over" how wrong i was. Sasha should transfer to the LA Sparks..jk he would suck there too

Just read Rondo's wingspan is 6'9, 8 inches longer than his height! Not great on NBA history but this has to be in the extremely rare category right?

I think it did hit the rim. It just barely grazed it but you could see the ball change angle as it went by the rim.

Well, everyone is wanting someone else to step up for the Lakers when Kobe has almost 30 attempts. Every starter other than Perkins for the Celtics had double digit attempts. Gasol is the best center in the league but he doesnt get the ball nearly enough. He can beat Garnett easily. Not to mention that the Lakers fans want someone to play defense when Kobe refuses to guard Ray Allen because its too much work. Then he guards Rondo from the free throw line.

Well that's the best way to guard him. Rondo hasn't been spectacular in any of the finals games.

The others had their shot. I don't know if you were watching the game but there was a plethora of missed shots from Gasol, Fisher, Artest, Odom, and Bynum. They've been given chances and anyone who has watched these games will tell you, Kobe scores when he can.. other then that, hes trying to pass the ball and create for his teammates.

Every starter on the Celtics had double digit attempts because they play a more traditional offense. Rondo being an excellent PG also helps.

Gasol is given chances time and time again but he always settles for fadeaways and jumpshots. Both not very high percentage shots.

Kobe doesn't refuse to guard Ray Allen. It's just Phil Jackson doesn't wanna kill Kobe by having him chase Ray Allen around every possession when Fisher, who is much better at doing that, is willing to do so.

Kobe guards Rondo from the free throw line because he doesn't respect Rondo's jumper, as he shouldn't.

All in all.. Boston did their thing today. Nice game from THE TRUTH! Lakers need to find some passion on the trip back to LA or we're gonna get embarrassed on our own turf.

Gasol's not the best center in the league as he is not a center, he's a power forward who doubles as one.
