I saw him at 14 but whatever. And out of those 13 in front of him I personally would rather have 11 or 12 of them over Pagan. That not including guys below him who in the long run will be much better. You guys yourself have a better option at CF in a few weeks. And he should go back to being a bench player.

He's better than Francoeur, so no he should not go back to being a bench player.

Thank you for interleague play. Tigers complete a sweep of the Nationals after doing the same to the Pirates. 1.5 back of the Twins.

Not to mention we have no idea if Beltran's still going to be able to handle CF on a full time basis. This year at the least.

why do you expect the pirates to win? you know that they suck balls, you knew that coming into the season. if anything you should root for them to continue to suck so much dick this season so they can get the top draft pick. if they had been worse last year you could have bryce harper in your farm system.

I expected to lose. I didn't expect them to lose 11 straight games and be the worst team in the league.

Bases jacked for Cutch. RBI single for Cutch. Now it's Jones with the bases juiced.

You should be happy that you have a better chance at Rendon.

The Dominican Summer League is barely underway and Miguel Sano is already showing why he was so coveted when he became eligible to sign with major league teams last year.
He chose the Twins because he wanted to play with Mega-Hunk Joe Mauer and Jason Morneau and boy oh boy did they score big with this kid. He’s a potential superstar with as much upside as any prospect ever in the Twins system.
The Twins threw him a 3.15 million dollar signing bonus, the largest given to an international amateur player last summer and by far and away the biggest signing bonus given by the Twins to an international player in their team's history.
And Sano is quickly showing why he got that bonus. In 11 games with the DSL Twins, the teams Dominican Summer League team, he is shredding the league with a .314 average, two homers, two doubles, a triple and eight RBIs.
Just 17 years-old, the young Dominican shortstop appears to have the complete package that scouts have been drooling over since he came on the scene. He has already drawn comparisons to Hanley Ramirez, Alex Rodriguez and even Albert Pujols. Players don’t just get that kind of compliment; there must be something special about this kid.
Said to have “tremendous” upside, Sano is big, fast, athletic and strong. At 6’3’ and 195 pounds already, he has a big frame that has a lot of filling out yet to do.
It’s been said that he could potentially shift to third base or even possibly a corner outfield spot as he grows out of the shortstop position.
Either way he’s going to be a big part of the Twins future, and at last the Twins finally have some serious infield talent brewing in their farm system.
It may take some time for him to get to the big league level because he is so young, but he could force the hand a lot earlier. The Twins will most likely want to take it as slow with him as possible, but they have also never had quite this kind of a talent at the positions he can play.
It will be an interesting story to watch and I have a feeling he’s going to be around much sooner than people predict. 2012 is a realistic possibility. He will be 19 and will be well groomed for two full seasons in the Twins strong minor league system.
And he should skyrocket through that system, which is short on high level infield talent with the kind exceptional bat he possesses.
Currently at shortstop for the Minnesota Twins is JJ Hardy and he is a good player no doubt (when he’s healthy), but he will be replaced by Sano in a couple of years, if he in fact remains a shortstop.
Third base could be all his if it’s decided that he shift spots, that is unless Danny Placenta turns out and puts his stamp on the position.
But if you’re looking at overall talent and upside, Sano has the edge hands down over both players and the Twins will eventually have to find him a spot, so someone has to go.
In Baseball America's 2010 prospect rankings, Sano was No. 4 in the Twins farm system before he had even played a game for them. In the article, scouts said Sano had "thunder in his hands and forearms" and that he "could hit 30 home runs annually down the line."
On Monday he had his first three hit game of the season, while collecting three RBIs in the DSL Twins 6-3 victory over the DSL Diamondbacks. In his first game of the season he had a triple and a home run.
It’s easy to predict when the states haven't seen much of this kid and all we have to go on is this tremendous hearsay, but this prospect has stardom oozing out of him, no doubt.
And after watching the Twins depth in the infield the past couple of weeks, it’s nice to know that help is coming in the form of a potential superstar.

Disagree with the 2012 part, but the early reports have been pretty encouraging.

Oh, sorry about those word filters, it's copy and pasted from another forum.. lol.. they're pretty funny though. No, the original writer did not write those into the article.
