SVP gave me a bit of upside to Votto not being in yet. If someone didnt know who he was before, they sure as hell will by Thursday.

Jesus. Cowherd is now saying Strasburg should have been an All-Star but not Votto. Jesus almighty.
He is now claiming it was the All-Star game, emphasis on Star. Holy Crap he should just stop talking.

As you should, he's a massive tool with a radio show and his own ESPN2 show for no real reason. That was the best slide I've seen in a long time by Inge on a double (hopefully MLB Network or ESPN replay it).

Watching the A's-Indians game from yesterday and Santana did something pretty funny. Cust was up with 2 outs and 1 strike but I guess Santana thought there were 2 strikes. The next pitch was a strike and Carlos turned and started sprinting toward his dugout while everyone else just sat there wondering wtf he was doin lol.

Is it time to start treating Boesch as a legitimate star player? The Orioles obviously want no part of him (4 BB's today).

Being that the cardinals already have 2 sp in the all star game, does that hurt Jaime's chances of being an injury replacement?

It depends who is the injured player. If the injured player was voted in by his fellow players, they just go to the next highest total on the list. If the injured player was a manager selection, the manager makes the pick.
Also Votto is leading the NL vote. Although it says narrowly over Zimmerman.

He also accompanied that thought by saying that MLB has a history of not capitalizing on its young guns and marketing them properly (ala the NFL, NBA, and NHL) so this is a perfect example to showcase one on the biggest stage.

thanks. I don't follow the NL that much.
Hasn't Halladay been somewhat inconsistant as well though?
By that I mean bouncing between great and slightly above average.
Who do you think the AL Cy Young candidates are right now?

It was basically him or Andy Pettitte. And Girardi took his guy.
Nevermind. Pettitte was the next pitcher on the player ballot so he's replacing Buchholz. I think Girardi will replace CC with Weaver.
