Paul Maholm gets a three hit shutout and the Pirates get 19 hits? What?

AJ is not really hurt badly. He's just an idiot. Pettitte sounds like he could miss some starts though.

And cleaning up the things from my trash can, after throwing it at the walls repeatedly. This might be a good opportunity to get a bigger one.

I'm fairly upset at how McAllister has pitched this year so far in AAA. Hopefully he turns things around. Also Kontos looks to be coming back as a reliever. Because of his lack of control, most had him pegged as one eventually anyway. Could factor in late games next year though.

Could be both. I'd think we'd have to bring two pitchers up. Maybe not with the day off tomorrow though. Some were saying that Mitre may be looked at as a one inning pitcher. Let him really air it out towards the back of the bullpen.

Woo cardinals win in comeback fashion. Sweep over the dodgers and 5 wins in a row. Phillies at home next should be fun.

Just horrific umpiring all around. Ridiculous. Both teams should be filing complaints, but the Mets especially. They got screwed a bunch of times.

Indeed. Still, you guys should have won.
In other news though: IKE DAVIS IS A GOD!

The rays suck and will not make the playoffs. Evan Longoria is a bust. Oh yeah, Yankee fans are huge idiots and I do not like them, matter of fact there are some down the street I think I will go and beat up.

Ike Davis is a beast. Couldn't believe Brian Wilson kept throwing him sliders. I was pleading for him to throw gas, and Davis pounded that last slider. Giants were 1-15 with RISP so they deserved to lose.

Wow awesome win for the Twins. I've been waiting all year for us to win a game like this, seems like we usually score a couple runs but come up short in the 9th.
Also Delmon Young is a legitimately good hitter now. That's still sinking in.

True enough. I'm sure as he gets more experience he will learn to be more patient. He certainly showed it when he first came up so hopefully he can adjust.

He should be batting 5 and should have for atleast the past month. Not sure what Gardy is waiting for.
